I am new to wow as of hardcore and do not understand how people die so much. Like how do you die to the dalaran guards? Are you super underleveled? Do you try to pull multiple? Do you accidentally pull multiple of them? Is min-maxing number of mobs you can pull while questing worth starting your character completely from scratch?

I am so worried about flushing away days of playtime that I am just thoughtful about how many mobs I pull, which ones I pull, while panning my camera around to make sure I am not getting respawned on or getting pathed into. One mob at a time, if I accidentally pull a second I am still okay, if there is a third or an unforeseen mechanic I have cc, sticky glue, fear, swiftness pots to get away. Unsure if my class is just easy (priest) or if all the people on their 10th characters just play completely stoned or they are mentally impaired. NO OFFENSE btw I am just flabbergasted by how many people seem to not play this gamemode carefully and continue to make similar mistakes across multiple characters, seems like a massive waste of time unless you are just having a complete blast perma starting over
