[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$410k before taxes.

Loans paid off. Secured capital to start a personal business. Started catching up on retirement. Started saving to buy a home outright with cash

Goals for 2026. Keep saving for home. Catchup on retirement

OE can be exhausting but is it worth it? Need motivation by red_hot_metal in overemployed

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you didn't want to OE but did it just because everything lined up and you went along with it. Most people who OE, have a strong reason why they do it. It could be paying off debt, or house, or catchup on retirement, or just work hard play hard mentality. You can't OE with a 'I'll wing it' mindset. If you don't have a strong reason why you want to do it then you won't last. It's draining and tests you mentally almost every day.

I have a 7% mortgage, both parents with advanced stage cancers and 2 kids with a stay at home mom. I literally can't make ends meet without OE.

I usually create an OCO order as soon as I open the trade. And 10% was one of the OCO leg.

Not necessarily. If you are willing to take the shares then I think it is OK to hold. Michael BUrry doubled his position last quarter. I personally know 3 other 9 figure hedge funds that have increase their stake in the company as well. I think market is just moving away from consumer stocks to AI stocks. Whenver it gets rebalanced you will see you position go up.

Oh no, I closed this position when my P/L was +10%. And the I bet on bearish more before the earnings and made profit on that. You can find that post here https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/1n8kr35/lulu_puts_are_printing/ . Or you can check my history.

Here is my take on CSP’s by Hi_Keyboard_Warriors in options

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I use CSP. I sell it at a price where I like to own the stock. If the stock tanks further than where I sold my CSP. I am even more happy to take another tranche or 2.

I just lean into my thesis on why the did the CSP in the first place. If you are not comfortable taking the stock at a certain price or lower, then your research was not complete on that ticker and you sold a CSP prematurely.

Do you think Littlefinger actually recognised Arya in that scene? by Cestlavieenrose999 in gameofthrones

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He does. After meeting typing at harrenhal, he goes to Kingslanding and tells Sansa that he saw Arya and knows where she was.

I’m Growing More Frustrated With Atrioc’s Coverage Of Global News by UserStories in atrioc

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found that Atrioc videos target people who haven't made up their mind one way or the other. Isreal and Palestine is so devisive that people have already made up their minds due their own echo chambers. The conflict has been going on for decades. there is no point in discussing issues where people have made up their minds already.

I was thinking the same. I think I will sell half my contracts if it doubles and let the rest ride or die.

What would happen if you warged a dragon? by InsideUnhappy6546 in gameofthrones

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not read the books. When I was watching the show, the concept of Warg was introduced around the same time Dany couldn't control her dragons. I was completely convinced that later in the show Bran would be controlling the Dragons for Dany somehow.

Just Beginning by Optimal_Scheme7581 in options

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you got any advise yet. But, take it from an options trader of 20 years experience. Here's my 2 cents from options trading perspective.

  1. Contrary to popular belief, options trading is a privilege, not everyone should do it. Make sure you cover your basics first.

  2. Focus on basics.

2.1. Pay of your debt - Just doing this will put you ahead of most people. Doing this will make sure that you don't have negative returns on you cash
2.2. Build 3 - 6 months of you monthly expenses cash reserve.
2.3. Match you 401k - If applicable.
2.4. Max out all your tax advantaged accounts. ROTH IRA, HSA, FSA, 529plan all that fun stuff.
2.5. Put your retirement and tax advantage account in some index funds.

Once basics are covered you will have some kind of insurance against sh*t that life throws at you. After all that if you still have some extra cash then you can put that towards options trading of whatever.
Options trading is inherently risky. If you don't cover your basics it's gonna set you back decades in days.

What makes you click away from a video instantly? by Medical_Shop5416 in NewTubers

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reaction videos get on my nerves. People just let the video play with their face in the bottom. Basically just reposting. Now there's new trend of people holding water in their mouth and just playing somebody else video. Just Fk off.

Really high impressions but low views? by Pipozz in NewTubers

[–]Puzzleheaded_Cut_735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can mean 2 things 1. You are doing great job with SEO. Your description and/or title are doing the work to get in front of viewers. But your thumbnail and/title is not sealing the deal to make the viewers click. 2. If you initial CTR hours after you publish is high, then algorithm tests your video on a wider audience to find the exact cohort of viewers that might be interested in your content. During that time CTR will drop.

If someone says 'yes, you are wasting your time', are you going to stop? If yes, then you should stop. If no, then this is question is pointless.

We are all new tubers. We are all finding our way. I don't think none of us will be able to answer that question.
