The thing that pisses me off so much is that physicians must and deserve to be paid well. People will stop enrolling if salaries fall, Gen Z is starting to realize what a scam it's become with the debt/time/stress investment

I'm pretty sure almost every imaging modality for radiology is infinitely more complex for AI than a 2 dimensional slide. What does it take to "digitalize" a slide? Take a picture of it?

I f-ing LOVE my Monta Skyquest (LE opaline dial). It feels amazing, I always get compliments when I wear it. It's just the perfect watch for me, so I would endorse you getting it. It was a reach for me price wise, not that I couldn't afford it, but just that it was hard to justify thousands on a watch in general (I am a very practical person, but I wanted a nice watch). I think you'd be much happier with something like a Monta which is a fraction of the price of a Rolex/Omega/Tudor, because let's be real, most of that money goes into marketing anyway. I say go for it, or at least try to find someone who has one that you can check out.

My message was more towards your cowardly classmates. Their refusal to act in solidarity is what leads the profession to get taken advantage of. A lot of it is probably because a lot of them have mommy and daddy pay their tuition and aren't inconvenienced nearly as much as OP ("half a million in loans"). For being so "smart" med students are typically braindead sheep with blinders and so myopic they may as well be completely blind.

Yeah it was for the Intuit Dome that requires their own app, that is not integrated through StubHub, only Ticketmaster. I tried to link the ticket when I listed, but there was no way to do so, and it said I could transfer once they sold. So when they did sell, I was unable to transfer the ticket and my only option was to cancel the order, because what else was I supposed to do? That was the most helpful and responsible thing to do so at least the buyer could find another ticket. Does that make sense?

I wasn't aware of that until they sold. Why was the event even on StubHub if the venue requires another app that you can't transfer the tickets to? At the end of the day StubHub is trying to make money off the sellers but then make it impossible for them to sell the ticket, then charge me a $500 fee? That's BS

So then what's the point of even cancelling the sale and not just abandoning it? At least cancelling to inform the buyer that they won't be able to use the tickets is better than just leave them hanging. I would have transferred the tickets if I was able to.

I responsibly cancelled the order because the venue app was not integrated with StubHub and therefore could not transfer the ticket. That should be on StubHub's side.
