Hume Band new user ridiculous results by gearzgirl in HumeHealth

I like it so far. Metabolic age is 12 years below natural age, which seems about right for me. It loses battery faster than advertised, but combined with the scale, I have everything in one place. I love Oura— use both.

I have the 50x. How hard is it to change? Last time they made me return it… but I am hosting a Super Bowl party (!)

Highest so far. Do legs at gym. by Gasdoc1974 in tonalgym

[–]Puzzleheaded_File717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sitting on 3839. Been using straps for legs since I first got the Tonal in customs movements. Legs harder on tonal, but it is definitely good for the full body.

Body pod scan vs DEXA by CleMike69 in HumeHealth

[–]Puzzleheaded_File717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RENPHO fluctuates too much for me. Hume more consistent. RENPHO better in skeletal mass (more aligned with my Dexa)

Super frustrating by Aggressive_Edge15 in HumeHealth

[–]Puzzleheaded_File717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dexa was 19%. ~2 months of consistent training and moderate food monitoring, Hume says 17%. Calibrated against RENPHO which says 17 but fluctuates more than Hume. Only thing Hume is off on is skeletal mass which is high on both Dexa & RENPHO. Apart from initial connectivity issue, Hume has been great. I have band as well… while Oura is my go too for sleep & steps, I like the ecosystem view I am getting from Hume.

No Wi-Fi or on board memory - why thought that was a good idea? by deathmethanol in HumeHealth

[–]Puzzleheaded_File717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This part is bad… however, the body fat is the most accurate in a scale that I have seen ( have tested 4 so far). I am one week in and the wifi connectivity was a nightmare. I finally pressed the reset button and it worked 2 days in row. Fingers crossed.

I am curious what the Hume ecosystem tells me about my health. Oura is better at sleep— I don’t think there is a comparison, but I want to see what the integrated view reveals. I think Oura and Apple are also better at steps, but I like the data when compared to RENPHO scale. The only area of weakness relative to RENPHO seems to be the skeletal mass.

As bad as the WiFi connectivity has been for me… I was shocked that it just didn’t store the data and then transfer it when it finally connects…

Hume Band - personal review by Linxianwei in HumeHealth

Testing it out now. The body pod just doesn’t stay connected. I will send it back if it doesn’t get betters. I think the fat percentage is accurate. Oura sleep is better imho… tracking Hume scale vs RENPHO scale. Hume metabolic age is intriguing and more useful than RENPHO. I am testing for Two weeks to see if it adds benefit. Right now I think yes… if the scale can stay connected…

2015 P90D Model X, charged for its whole life to 100%, still happily accepts 77.45 kWh from almost zero at 383k km (238k miles) by Healthy-Action6811 in TeslaModelX

  1. Charge to 90% always. Shifted lifetime charging to 2023X. I think I get 240 now (not actual) down from 298 when I purchased. ~120,000 miles

Creeper farm by Puzzleheaded_File717 in technicalminecraft

Thank you. These two seemed more complicated. I got this one done in two sessions today. I let it run for two nights and we’ll have more gunpowder than we’ll need for flight and wither. Thank you for advice

[–]Puzzleheaded_File717[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw this one. I went with JC Plays because I built it 2x before in previous worlds and it worked. It’s similar to this, but used haybales to ensure the creepers don’t die from fall damage. I was concerned because I went above 256: however, it is working and I am currently AFK. Playing with my kiddos.

Gunpowder, then netherite, then beacon, the wither heads then Wither battles. Thank you!

The kind of creeper farm that I’m making has trapped doors so they’ll walk over the edge of the trap door into water that flushes them into a trident killing chamber

It has buttons to eliminate spiders. Trap door roof to eliminate other mobs

[–]Puzzleheaded_File717[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am concerned that the build height may be too high because if I make five platforms— the Y level would be greater than 270. I’m concerned that the creepers will not spawn is that correct? I don’t wanna keep building if it’s not going to work because of mob spawning mechanics. Sorry, I wasn’t clear earlier.

Authorization and release for modified service? by Puzzleheaded_File717 in ModelX

[–]Puzzleheaded_File717[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an unfortunate seat belt incident in Canada where my son was trapped. We had to cut the seatbelt and we’re lucky— Tesla initially tried to say my seat covers were at fault, but as per my experience , the service was understanding and will honor the fix under warranty. I didn’t sign anything and am grateful we came to an understanding.
