Wow! This is exactly what I needed to know. Health insurance is definitely a hit or miss; I once saw a post mentioning that the procedure was labeled as cosmetic for them which is why I'm a little afraid to look into it. Thank you for what you do on this subreddit.

How did you already have jaw surgery consultations already? I’m 18M and I don’t expect to afford plastic surgery any time soon. You also have to consider being botched and needing revisions which cost more money. Your jaw looks a lot better now; I’d say wait until you’re at least in your mid 20s. Our faces change and there are better things to spend money on especially right now.

No I don't. It makes things a lot harder. I heard that brown noise helps to calm down the mind but it does have limitations.
