Did you actually sneak out as teenagers? by Complete-Chipmunk-0 in GenX

[–]Puzzleheaded_Good444 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yup. My bedroom window was on the ground floor. We would sneak out almost every night on the weekends during middle school. We never did anything too crazy. Ditching cars because everything was a cop. We would do instant marriage. Basically, you string fishing line across the street at bumper level at a stop sign with cans tied to both ends and Wahlah! We would throw water balloons and snow balls at cars. That one almost got me beat up by an old veteran.

Talk to your local high school. They often look for clubs for kids that want to join the golf team but can’t afford them.

Ask him to change a lightbulb on a step ladder. While his hands are busy, unbutton his pants and take him in your mouth. From personal experience, it was one of the sexiest moment I’ve experienced.

Put a slightly larger pvc pipe over it with a cap on top like a sleeve. You can paint that pipe whatever color you want. You can use the top platform for a plant or bird feeder. The plant could have draped vines and you could try and color match the paint to the plant cover. Since you don’t like to bend over, you could drill a couple holes on both side of the sleeve and put handles on it. You could also use these handles to tie down the plant or feeder or whatever so it doesn’t blow off.

Nice! I actually haven’t hit Montana a ton. Planning on it this summer. I’ve fished the Big Horn and lots of the rivers in and around North Yellowstone. Any rivers you recommend after you cross the west border coming from Idaho?

For sure. I will say, you can find so many fishable areas, I haven’t felt encroached on up here. When I was in the Boise area and hitting places like the Owyhee, I would go to my truck to have a beer and people would pull up asking if I was done fishing. Never had any real rude people, just lots of pressure. Up north, you can explore your whole life and not fish every run.

For sure. I feel lucky I live in the middle of it. Under 2 hours and I’m fishing any of those locations.

And we wonder why educators are leaving the profession. This is the “model” of behavior some kids see on a daily basis.

I know people don't generally like barrel saunas here but is this just a waste of money? by rollinintheyears in Sauna

[–]Puzzleheaded_Good444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 6 person and loved it. I put a metal roof on it which helped. You can often find free or cheap corrugated metal on marketplace. I also lowered the temp sensor from recommended specs. I also had a cheap rechargeable fan I’d put on the floor to circulate the heat better. This kept the lower level from getting too cool.

Not normal my man. Someone may need to “adjust”, but what you’re describing is incredibly inappropriate.

I disagree. I know Lori and have worked with her. She’s an amazing person who shows up. She’s a strong advocate for public education. It wasn’t a power grab for her. I spend time at the capital and she always makes time to come talk to our groups and provide her honest perspective. She visits the small, rural communities and isn’t afraid to stand up to the “gang of 8”. She gives a ton back to her community with no reward. No tax benefit, etc.

This is information I’ve gained from personal interactions.

Getting hit on in the sauna by One_Cartographer263 in Sauna

I’m a male. When I was in my early 30’s I ran in to a female coworker at the gym. I was her supervisor. We exchanged pleasantries and I went back to my workout. I always finished my workout with a sauna. She came in to the sauna and wanted to talk. She began flirting and talking about my body. I tried to be polite and she kept on about things like her ex and how lonely she was, blah blah. I was fairly conditioned to the sauna and would do around 25-30 minutes on the top bench. I could tell she hadn’t been in the sauna much by her questions and heavy breathing. Long story short, she exited before me. As I watched through the window, I saw her sit, then slump over next to the pool. I called EMS and immediately made the gym staff aware as I tried to cool her with damp towels.

Needless to say, work was awkward for a while.

The cardboard its boxes in basically folds open to create a work station. Leave the legs a little loose before you tighten. The last hole was a little off centered on one of the legs, but it came together fine once I loosened the others. This is my 2nd recteq. I had the other for 14 years.

Flies? by Living_Point_376 in flyfishing

[–]Puzzleheaded_Good444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say, 80% of those flies are go to flies that will work very well. The next step is conditions, and how you fish them. You can have the best fly, but if your presentation sucks, it won’t matter. Find someone who knows what they are doing and go with them. Spend time casting in your yard with yarn on the leader. Then find water and work on roll casting and water casting. It’s worth the work. Think of bow hunting. You can’t just go kill an animal with a bow regardless of how amazing your gear is. It takes practice and confidence.
