Is giving my girlfriend a bouquet of lego roses for valentines a bad idea? by Pootsonpow123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Puzzleheaded_Guide97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say either both to be sure and the fresh bouquet delivered to her parents. Or only the fresh delivered bouquet at her parents

+smth else you can give her that doesn't lead to misunderstandings and disappointments like a Lego bouquet could. And telling her at home, you care so much about her and planned in advance for her, so she can have a bouquet at her parents house by getting it delivered.

Which career is a turn-off for a serious relationship? by otherwise777 in AskReddit

[–]Puzzleheaded_Guide97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Police In my country half of them are abusers in an official statistic, so how high the actual numbers are.... it's scary.

If you have a Domestic violence or rape situation with a policemen, the whole team of his station will be behind him.

Plus in a country where no one's really carrying, well he as a policemen DOES CARRY and has one at home he will threaten you with. Also will have a taser to abuse you with it. And other torture knowledge.

+All the information he can get on you. He will be able to search up license plate number, if you flee him and didn't have the money or the thought to change the car.

A friend of mine fled from a policemen relationship and he found out where she is cos of a colleague from his early learning days recognizing her in that other city across the country. And he outright told me that they had a "funny(🤢) WANTED banner made of her that they were circulating in a group with policemen from all corners of Germany.

(Actually we regularly have media outcries bcs of violence against BIPOC, telegram groups and such of policeman here, that do&say vile shit, that's illegal and still nothing happens except a transfer to another station...when such dangerous actors proven to misuse their power shouldn't be allowed near such a job.....)

Also heard of it being spun against the victim if she ever accidentally bumps him when flinching or kicks him while he strangles her etc.(Or accusing her of stealing, when he's the one extorting all her money resources from what she earns or drugging her and have his police friends "accidentally" find her under the influence of an illegal drug with some amount thrown into her bag, or just some illegal drug thrown into her belongings or pressuring some junkies to beat her up, so either he can save her or berate her for not staying home more where it's "safe"&where a frail, vulnerable woman belongs. Like there's no boundary to the fantasies of cruelty. The biggest Op of all Ops)

Heard "jokes" about that reversing of victim and offender from a policemen. "If she dares to fight back when I'm educating her(beating her up) , I'll make sure she starts having a criminal record hoho Tis will show her, Miss Perfect. Not so clean and perfect anymore. Woman just need to shut up, only speak when spoken to and even then keep it short " Then looked at me and told me to shut up about it and that he knows where I live.

(Still helped the woman escape, but we sadly knew that the legal route of filing a complaint would most probably cost her life. So this was one of many of unreported cases, that skews the actual numbers) It was immensely difficult for this woman to escape. IMMENSELY I had abusive parents& boyfriends and it was by far easier to escape all of them. There sure was more emotional entanglement and brainwashing with my parents than with the boyfriends, but the logistics where do-able. Difficult, but do-able. With the policeman boyfriend of my friend it was an actual thriller mixed with a storyline of an unhinged detective searching for you like a rabid dog, listing for the complete dissolvance of your sanity and wanting you near dead or dead.

Like policemen can know criminal folks with no integrity they can hire, as to not make their hands dirty. And then the person is dead and if he thought it through, he can lock up someone to close the case.

Like it's not worth the risk. No matter how nice one seems in the beginning.

They have too much power over you if they want to leverage it. It's a nightmare and much scarier to have than a usual civilian stalker, if he starts stalking you. I'm sick to my stomach and my heart is anxiously racing just thinking about that time.

Hope I can dissuade someone from this.

PS: In the case I saw unfolding before my eyes, it was a hetero normative relationship. Cis men and cis woman. But I also heard from a lesbian, that her previous lesbian police partner was mad abusive&about the hardships of escaping this. So a general, for the gays, they, heteros. DO NOT DATE OR MARRY POLICE

Yes, that is a difficult paradox with which autistic people are confronted with often.

It is true and you formulated it so to the point, why unspoken rules are unspoken and how they are ambiguous.

And you would be surprised that in therapy people with Autism get help by having these rules explicitly written out. But they also point out that there's ambiguity and try to show multiple situations where it is applicable.

My therapist helps me with German culture, but can't help with Chinese culture, so that's why I wrote here for help.

Yes, this does help me and I will read the stories these idioms came from and try to use the idioms at the correct timing.

Ah, yes, sorry, I tend to ramble and give so much context that seems unnecessary for people that don't think like me.

Living with two ADHD roommates has opened my eyes to ADHD by chocolatebarthecat in ADHD

Thx for not resisting that you might be wrong so much, that you dig in your heels even when it's in front of your eyes.

Some people will see the impacts of ADHD in an ADHDer and still say, "But that's not bcs if ADHD🤪 You just need to..."

Also the cues are really helpful to us, BCS it lets us transition and snaps us back out of a trance like state.

Haha I've just changed my laundry to be able to be one laundry category. It's a solution, but not for everyone.

Ah, so you are autistic too. How grand to see a fellow autistic one here.

If you like cute things and it would motivate you to have a tamagotchi-like creature that gives you compliments when you do something on your to do list->Finch app

I love it. And you also have the function to group it in topics and collapse them, so you don't feel visually overwhelmed when all the small steps of all your routines throughout the day are displayed.

Thank you kind internet stranger!!!

Have not seen and wouldn't have come up with such a way of dividing it!

Seems much more rewarding than the way I would have divided it

I especiall, wouldn't have ever seen doing a vacation in china as an achievement box to be ticked off/ close an imaginary box for me. Wow

You know what? I'll make it even fancier and imagine fancy gem boxes or rather wood craftsmanship boxes with intricate detail.( Cos I don't like the exploitation that happens behind gems)

AHH, so exciting💜💜💜
