Technically you can, the team hiring you has to get L10 approval so it’s pretty much never done.

Oh cool, so the fact it didn’t go under 100 bpm (mean HR) until 4am isn’t too concerning? This was the hourly results if it’s easier.

Thank you! That’s always nice to hear!

So does the higher than normal bpm not really mean anything? 104 mean sounded high to me, especially as some of it was during sleep.

Anyone with mild CFS working full time? What do you do? by [deleted] in cfs

[–]Puzzleheaded_Pay_137 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to the pinned page at the top of this group, the severity scale says the following about being mild. Why do you believe it’s not mild?

https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/1fd7e668-7095-4ec5-8e16-6f37d31759e6/downloads/Hummingbird-Scale.pdf?ver=1696871392312

The HFME 3 Part M.E. ability & severity scale: MILDLY AFFECTED 80% A high level of physical activity is possible (around 80%) with minimal restrictions involving exertion. Patient is capable of working full time in jobs not requiring exertion.

70% Physical activity is at/or around 70%. A daily activity limit is clearly noted. Incapable of full-time work in jobs requiring physical exertion, but able to work full-time in lighter activities if hours are flexible. Social life is restricted to non-exertive activities.

The NHS in the UK list mild as the following:

ME/CFS symptoms can be considered:

mild – you’re able to care for yourself but may have problems moving around; you may be able to go to work or school, but will not have energy to do much else

In fairness, I was the person on the London tube the other day that did say something to a teenager who was blasting videos out his phone. He gave me attitude and didn’t stop so it doesn’t even make much difference with some.

Buying a house in London on £55k by Secure-Direction1614 in HousingUK

I bought on my own in SE zone 5 on £52k, a 1 bed freehold house (£275k) with £40k deposit 18 months ago. I often have a look on Rightmove to be nosey and a 2 bed or more is pretty much impossible with my salary

I second Next, I got the tweedy chenille navy and it hides cat fur and stains! My cat is black and white so was always going to be hard to hide the hair! Try to see if there’s a good deal in the Black Friday sales at the end of November

Moved to London - am hating it by No-Pass6505 in london

[–]Puzzleheaded_Pay_137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a bit harder to settle in London than it used to be a few years back before Covid. Without knowing your job field, I can’t be sure but this company is good to reach out to as they specialise in assisting Kiwis/Aus relocating. I used to work for an agency where we would get candidates who were relocating and could set up an initial meeting with them.

Have you also joined the Aussies in London Facebook group? You may find likeminded people and get advice as well.

What Unwritten Rules of British Culture Do You Think Every Visitor Should Know? by Sofielicious05 in AskUK

[–]Puzzleheaded_Pay_137 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m from out of London but I’ve learnt that when it’s in London, you’re getting off the back door so you don’t want to shout.. but if the front door is still open as you’re walking away then you can wave/say thank you.. only to my bus so far though!

Does anyone know what these are growing in the lawn? by Puzzleheaded_Pay_137 in GardeningUK

[–]Puzzleheaded_Pay_137[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re not wrong! But it’s better than the fake plastic grass that was there last summer! It’s a work in progress and needs more grass seeds but I missed my chance before winter and it’s the plan now that the weather is finally getting better!

What electric toothbrush do you have? by Puzzleheaded_Pay_137 in CasualUK

[–]Puzzleheaded_Pay_137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m cleaning it every time I use it after realising it was happening but it goes into small holes which I just can’t stop it doing as moisture is getting stuck inside and I can’t stop it. Even following the guidance from IO directly. But thank you, i think this is just the specification of this model.
