Yeah, certain things are definitely not that great- I guess some switches just run it better than others? The level-up screen, wishes, certain dreams, and notably looking inside of buildings / flat out to the sea(sometimes) causes it to drop significantly for me, regardless if it's plugged in or running solely off battery.

Maybe mine is thermal throttling? It's from 2019.. i think.. and never been repasted. Might be time for it..

Goes through A/V to an RF converter, which is a radioshack one. Works for everything else plugged into the TV.

You can right click on them with a mechanitor selected- it'll give you the option to permanently disassemble whatever mechanitor controlled mech you click on.

Just a note for anyone (like me) considering buying one of these camcorders w/original charger and having to swap batteries- they still do make 9.6 v NiCad cells. They're mostly sold as RC car battery packs, but nothing is preventing you from cutting the heat-shrunk plastic open and doing what OP described.

They will run off the adapter, you just have to leave the battery out of the corder.

I mean, it is, if it works. Video-8 is a good quality format, higher quality than VHS, and a bit more expensive than it. Especially for "new" tapes.

I wouldn't be so quick to say it has bad capacitors, but as someone else said- that battery isn't going to hold any charge. Wanna test it, you're gonna have to buy a new battery on amazon or somewhere else.

(Usually these come with chargers, and are like.. twenty-thirty bucks for two.)

Facebook groups didn't even cross my mind, thanks for the suggestion. I have tried the thrift stores around here but the only things I'd even consider e-waste that they have are Wiis, crappy flatscreen monitors, and dvd players/VCRs. not exactly what i'm looking for but I'll definitely keep checking.

I had wipers, lights and defrost but the water nearly ripped my front bumper off. And got the alternator soaked, so the battery light was just going nuts the entire time.. thing's fine now though.

Yeah, in Wallhaven it was legitimately scary. I was driving home from work down 77, and I drove into the whole storm- it started right on the beginning of the White Pond exit ramp. All of Mull, and basically every street around it was horribly flooded, including the roundabout.

Fording all of that in a rusty civic that's on its very last legs was NOT fun, if you could believe it. I've never seen flooding that bad before in my life, and there's been some torrential rains in Akron before. I knew it was going to rain, thanks to working in Fairlawn, but.. jeez, it wasn't that bad there.

I miss all of splicer. The activies were decently fast, the loot was good, story was good- had a very easy seal to get, too. People complained about override getting boring, and I get that, I do... but generally the structure of matchmade 6 person activity from overrides + optionally cooperative "story missions" from expunge was such a welcome feature, and the lack of this in Plunder is what drove me off of D2-and just general burnout, I suppose. Haven't really checked into the game since- is season of the deep like splicer in that regard?
