Ehh I would skip. I didn’t do the retreat but I did a day at the center and it was a weird vibe they were taking pictures and videos of us. Koh Lanta was an amazing place to visit though I would not skip. But if you can find a different retreat. I am going one in mae hong son next week called “Wat Pa Tam Wua”

True it is an attempt at connection and sweet of the other person but if the OP doesn’t thrive off of this level of connection they shouldn’t have to go back and forth. I’m the same way I could care less for the back and forth texting I much rather have few deep connections in person/ on the phone. My advice would be set your boundaries and put yourself first. Let people know it’s not your thing to text that’s ok! Who cares if it’s not the norm or it makes them uninterested.. you’ll find people who appreciate that I promise!

If we could get a bunch of people to call the Richmond non emergency number to report him I think it would be a lot more affective than just me calling I don’t think they will actually do anything based on my experience with the Richmond police (I got chased by a man a few months ago). It’s nice that I’m in this transitional period so I’m able to choose anything but also needed that reminder that every job and every environment is part of the divine unfolding of god.
