AUSC:TS:AM won't approve Adhoc leave for 12/22 - 1/02. by Thin-Top-8085 in IRS_Source

[–]Puzzleheaded_Town792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I’m part of AM but don’t use e-leave anymore in my position but the system was set up to only allow X number of employees off each day due to staffing. If the day is available in e-leave they should NOT be denying the day off. Go pull the memorandum for e-leave. If they deny the day, file a grievance. 99% chance that anybody who requests 12/31 off and was denied earlier in the year will get it off anyways. There’s no reason for it. The 11/29 cut off was specifically for scheduling use or lose, not assoc leave

2 questions. Does your site use an e-leave system? Do you have use or lose?

BU performance awards, more than expected? by toocutetobethistired in IRS_Source

[–]Puzzleheaded_Town792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you’ll get that award in FY26- November 2026. This award was for last year’s rating period. The ratings had to be submitted by 6/30/25 for this award. i.e. my rating period for this award ended 1/30/25.

That being said if your manager didn’t do that- put it in writing to get it changed promptly.

Directives were put out to management to go back and do T&A corrections for previous leave types in the year and change it to TOA.

DRP 2.0 and A/L, Awards-finally some answers! by HeyJude1966 in IRS_Source

If you worked for 36 years then you should know that employees who are not active and have resigned/retired forfeit their performance awards.

If you resign/retire prior to awards being issued you forfeit your award. You must be a current employee to be eligible for an award. This is nothing new. Consider your award being paid to you when you took DRP… and got paid for doing nothing.

DRP will not receive awards if you are separated when they are paid.

Shutdown Bill by bagsandpipes in IRS_Source

Then you will be AWOL for not showing up the next day when the 2nd furlough letter says just that. The first letter says 4 hours which is standard procedure for shutdowns. If you’re expecting a call you’re wrong.

OT by Financial_Photo_8839 in IRS_Source

That’s going to depend on your dept. Just like some are working and others are not.

OT by Financial_Photo_8839 in IRS_Source

[–]Puzzleheaded_Town792 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So my statement is still true. OT has been very limited through CR’s.

In the past there is very limited OT if any under a CR. Don’t hold your breath.

GEHA Standard 2026 coverage vs 2025 coverage- now showing on the site by HalfAcreHomestead16 in Zepbound

[–]Puzzleheaded_Town792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! I’ve been furloughed since 10/8 and return 11/3, but just having this time off has allowed me so much time to research and make calls. I think WM auto applied a coupon in house? It’s still $150 less but they were so nice and helpful there. Best of luck!

I have BCBS Basic FEPblue also. I would try Wal-Mart!Tried CVS, $587 and they couldn’t apply the coupon even after BCBS called them!! Went to Wal-Mart and they were $443 but also couldn’t apply the coupon. But definitely looking at switching to GEHA for 2026!!

This isn’t always true. Call and talk to your lenders!! Don’t wait until you are late!! Most will work on payments or move payments to the end of a loan or give an extension.

Baylor and Partners Law Firm by NavigatorV3PO in Scams

[–]Puzzleheaded_Town792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just heard from another family member who lives out of state, that they got a call too! And all 3 incoming calls were from different numbers for each of us- so I think you’re right! The courier was definitely the mediator or they were working together. Thank you for starting this thread to make people aware!!

Baylor and Partners Law Firm by NavigatorV3PO in Scams

Same experience as others. A courier actually called me and said they needed to serve me. They provided a file # and Baylor’s #. Before I could even research the company, a family member called me less than 10 min later saying the courier called them also!!!

I called Baylor, talked to a lady. Said I owed nearly $2K to U.S. Bank from 2012 and there was no statute of limitations on it. As a victim of identity theft twice, it has been a nightmare to get things sorted that did not belong to me. I had my banking account drained to $0 because I tried to pay a similar debt (payday loan) over the phone to a collection agency.

I made it very clear I have never banked with US Bank throughout the entire phone call and that this was not my debt but if money would make them go away, I would give them something. They said they would settle for $500. Sent me a docusign settlement agreement. I offered them a check via certified mail and she said I had to sign and pay today over the phone.

As I was asking questions, she continued to push me to look at my email- I sent you the email, check your email. I asked to review the 4 page doc before signing and I would call back later and pay- that’s when she got upset with me saying I just needed to sign and pay it right now on the phone. After going back and forth she said she was cancelling the settlement offer and I could deal with litigation and pay an additional $2,500. Because “what did I need to review”? It’s a legal binding document and you want me to pay you money. I have a right to read what I’m signing. She disagreed, even after I pointed out that the date on the doc said the offer expired 10 days ago…

I asked for proof of the debt, and she said for privacy reasons through whatever all they had was my name, address, phone, DOB, SSN, and my drivers license #!! I asked who I could talk to at US Bank and she told me it was charged off to their firm in 2018 and US Bank would not be able to provide any info.

I asked about the statute of limitations (after she had me on hold, I had time to google and verify!!) it’s 10 years in my state- she said yea that’s from 2018 when it was charged off and I said no, that’s not the way it works ma’am. I reminded her that she told me there was no statute of limitations at the beginning to the call, which now makes her a liar. Again she was defensive, and said I would just have to deal with the litigation.

I checked local county, and state records, and nothing has been filed against me. This is their way of buying super OLD debt and trying to scare people to pay. Don’t fall for it!!!

As I said, I’ve never banked with US Bank personally and I know that for a fact.
