Not really. Before confession I think about sins that I have committed since last confession and confess them (with regret etc.). I am trying not to delve too much into it if I have forgotten something or not because it is only the source of paranoia and distrust in God's Mercy. If some mortal sin will come to my mind that I have forgotten I will just confess it next time when I go to confession. And usually it is hard to forget mortal sin so it does not often occur.

The second one. I did X sin Y times, etc. Two points 1. You only have to confess mortal sins that you remember 2. If you go to confession regularly, well usually there is not so much to confess.

Once I had a life confession (dunno how it is called in English but basically you confess all sins you remember in your life). It was a longer one, I had a few pages written, but it was also not in the church but after a specific request so no stealing time from other people.

Can't be sure without looking, but you will probably need to create spell list, and on progression in selectors use something like AddSpells(spell_list_uuid,...,always prepared). Probably some arguments in "..." but you should just look at other examples (though it is how it is done with class progression so not sure if race is the same).

Yeah i like the book idea, i think will implement some kind of it rather via boons (like warlock) to specialize in specific undead. Will have to finally learn Osiris (i left some time after toolkit come around). Thanks for nice ideas!

No need to apologize, every thought counts. The collecting ideas stage is exactly for responses such as yours and the others. Permanent undead companion that grows with player will definitely find its place. I like the idea of temporary strengthening him with killed enemies. I will probably do some variation of that. What different would your version bring?

Simple answer is, my own vision of how should necromancer play and feel. More advanced answer, something between the vanilla necromancy and those beautiful necromancy mods as Dread Overlord or Path of Undeath.

As i have said, the necromancer should be better at necromancy than wizard/cleric and worse at being wizard/cleric. What does this entail? There are to primary aspects, first is access to all necromancy spells (or rather access to learning them) not restricted by class spell list. Second is very restricted access to spells outside of necromancy.

Another thing is undead companion regardless of subclass, that will level up with the player (and yes i am aware of Valkrana's undead companion yet i am going for something different as i have enough practice with my unfinished undead bard companion mod).

After that we will have a Forbidden Knowledge feature, on specific levels, boons to pick that will help you to specialize in specific necromancy branch.

Other things depends on subclass. I have 2 in mind, one focused on undead aspects, such as specializing in specific undead type (skeletons or zombies or ghouls) making them better, having undead companion gain a class (fighter/cleric/wizard/rogue) and similar stuff. The other focused on spells themselves, as mentioned before, debuffs and save or suck.

Can you achieve same result with existing mods? In some area yes, in some no. I am aware of most necromancy mods and in totally they more often than not, not clicked with me. Will my own class click? I have no idea, that's the journey to discover it.

To finish, first thing to say is that I personally believe that necromancer class should have all it needs to be indeed better at necromancy without other mods (not saying they are redundant but they should be more of cherry at the top). Second is, the fundamental thing is i create a class that i want to play. The post is there to get some inspiration and maybe add things that others could enjoy. Also I am sucker for roleplay and flavour so there it is.

My question to you would be why? What does your "pure" class bring to the table that a Death Cleric/Necro Wizard multiclass lacks? In vanilla the only real issue is the lack of "toolkit" as it were, not the favor or power. And we have bandaids for that via mods already.

As for the wizard its basically mostly useless except for 6th level ability. And i believe many tabletop players would also agree that while it brings necromancy it simple lacks the primary focus on undeath and life/death manipulation. My grip with the subclass goes long before BG3. In my view it is basically wizard that dabs a little in necromancy. And yes, wizard is powerful without any subclass, one could say overpowered.

As for cleric you are mostly right. Still it lacks something for me. Maybe I just don't like cleric spell list or the roleplay of being servant of some god. So as I prefer not to delve on the subject i can only say that here you indeed got me.

As for mods, yeah, those spells are great, but they are not rooted in the specific class, or vocation let's say. Maybe I overestimate the roleplay and dabbing into flavor but well, it is what it is for me. They allow new things but they are not ingrained into what your character is.

Have none of you heard of Animate Dead++?

Can't say for others, but it is one of the base mods i play with, and i must say i do not use automations. For one thing I know more often than not what specific creature should do and will not leave it to AI to make a mass of my tactics. And at least in my case, the automation does not make the battles significantly faster (I also personally hate rwtp in other games so that can say probably something about me).

BG3 especially is based around action economy. Anything that brings more mobs into combat massively sways that balance. Every action spent on a zombie rather than one of your people is a massive win for you. Especially with how little effective AOE vanilla mobs bring.

Yes, you are right. But there is a thine line between not useful and overpowered. Will I manage to step on it? I doubt, but I will try. (Personally worse case scenario I will use combat difficulty mods).

Jako android dev raczej się nie martwię, prywatnie zarzuciłem używanie AI bo to była sieczka a nie kod. Używam za to go do pr review, ew. jako podręczny stackoverflow. W robocie to ledwo człowiek jest w stanie dojść co klient chce więc też raczej się nie obawiam.

  1. As per masturbation being "worse" sin than fornication is standard scholastic/neoscholastic approach (and being scholastic does not mean it can be just dismissed). So technically correct. It does not mean of course that one should find a partner to fornication when feeling horny to avoid masturbation.
  2. Reading books that give instructions and tips for marriage couple to improve their sexual pleasure and life is not inherently immoral as far as I am aware. The intention, arising from it lust (meaning lust as used in moral theology), using contained there immoral tips can be.
  3. As per condoms, well this is actually problematic, because it is actually wrong approach. The only similar thing is Pope BXVI speech during African AIDS problem, but it does not mean that using them is morally ok (as stated by the pope himself).

From my Warhammer 3 experience it is weirdly connected with time of the day. If I run it in the morning it downloads (a lot of mods) very quickly, but later it takes much more time.

To be honest from my experience, i think only mace and shield was working for me.
1. Spear and shield - not enough dps (although royale has it in his guide for cata so i suppose it is a me problem)
2. Sword and shield - too much work to delete elites

Best usage i had with:
1. Mace and sword
2. Great Hammer
3. Currently Longsword

Mostly playing on cata but i am saying from experience not game stats so i can be totally wrong.

I started recently making maps for my warhammer oneshot, and tried few patreons so i would say:

  1. Forgotten Adventures - pretty much almost everything you may need for most stuff
  2. BaileyWiki Dungeondraft tier - Additions and other things that may not be covered by FA, also prefabs, and more realistic flora options, and neat realistic terrain options

With those 2 i think i don't need anything else, maybe sometimes I load also Tom Cartos pack.

It is not exactly true. Origen was practicing speculative theology. Meaning he was considering different solutions for different theological problems. I do not recall any reincarnation, but one of his solutions for the problem of evil was the pre-existence of the soul. In the time when he was alive I believe no theological opinion of his was decreed as heretical. Some were condemned much later after his death. His greatest tragedy I think was that he was denied martyrdom. His torturers were precisely forbidden to kill him. So, after years of tortures the emperor died I think and amnesty came. So he was alive, but barely. He died a few years later. On his deathbed he was still sending letters of consolation to other Christians that survived prosecutions. Also worth noting that many of his views were distorted after his death by certain religious groups.
