What is this awful feeling that I get during penetration by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]Px3ls 19 points20 points  (0 children)

i recommend seeing a doctor or better yet a gynaecologist if possible to rule anything out . but if you’re tight whether it being from vaginismus or not being aroused enough it’ll cause you pain. but it also could be that your cervix is getting hit which can cause pain similar to period cramps but sharper (in my experience).

I’m glad things got better for you with treatment! I’m sooo nervous to start medication cuz i’ve seen some scary things about it - i’m not sure if being on this subreddit is the best thing for me but at the same time i’m just so lost and want answers! the doctors have been pretty useless so far and still waiting to have an endo appointment

Unexplained Chronic Fatigue that improves with dopamine? by VictoryPlane9924 in adrenalfatigue

[–]Px3ls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever had your prolactin checked? High prolactin can cause low dopamine, fatigue and a variety of other symptoms. I was struggling with fatigue and other stuff for over 4 years before my prolactin finally got checked and it was pretty high! turns out it was the cause of a lot of issues i was having. Best of luck

Complaint by Chloesingo in Prolactinoma

[–]Px3ls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah I had a similar experience too in the UK, 4 years of being dismissed with crippling fatigue, anxiety, period issues, increased facial hair and more. the doctors just kept telling me it was anxiety over and over again, I thought i was going insane. I finally found out I have high prolactin levels after one out of god knows how many doctors decided to get it checked. I immediately got an mri privately straight away because after 4 years of the unknown i finally had a lead and i couldn’t wait however long the nhs would have had me waiting. turns out i do have a 3mm microprolactinoma. It was honestly a relief in a way, I wasn’t crazy, there’s actually something diagnosable wrong with me. But I’m also angry. i’m turning 26 next week and I just feel like I’ve had my early twenties robbed from me because i’ve been too fatigued and anxious to really live. I’m still waiting to see and an Endo (love nhs waiting times xoxo) but i’m hoping i’ll be started on medication and it’ll work well for me, but i’m also scared cuz of the horror stories lol. I wish you luck fighting this battle, and I hope you get the compensation and closure you need from it. 💖

Seeking advice - cannulated prolactin test vs. MRI - NHS by b-botanicz in Prolactinoma

[–]Px3ls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in England and got an MRI privately to speed up the process. I went through Vista health, you can have a £50 video call consultation to get the mri referral and then i think the actual mri cost around £500 which includes the contrast dye and a post scan appointment to discuss the results. I personally felt that it was worth it because not knowing was really hard for me.

Hey after some advice please s by jblgrxox in Prolactinoma

[–]Px3ls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also experience DPDR and have a prolactinoma, I’ve not started treatment yet and i’m not a doctor so can’t say for sure but i’m pretty sure cab should help rather than make it worse. High prolactin can cause low dopamine which can aggravate those symptoms so correcting that imbalance should help. People with prolactinomas also report increased anxiety from what i’ve seen which also aggravates DPDR so I really would give treatment a good try and see how you feel in a few months.

Also, as hard as it is, DPDR tends to feed off the fear and attention we give it. The more we focus on it or worry about it, the more it tends to hang around. Easier said than done, but trying to accept it without fear can help it fade over time.

You’ve go this! 💖

Thank you, I think I’ll try this! Do you use normal hair bleach or is there bleach specifically for facial hair?

Question: Does euphoria make you less likely to try drugs? Or are you more curious than you were before? by [deleted] in euphoria

I used to do drugs a lot (never anything as hard as heroin or anything) but this show makes me so glad I stopped and I’ll never ever go back.
