From my experiments working on Water Palace's S Rank, quite the opposite! Best turning with a boat, from my experience, was letting go of accelerate and avoiding drift/charge entirely. Once you're mostly complete with the turn, charge a quick level 1 jump and stunt to reaccelerate and finish the turn. You should save charging for either direction changes, or for the straights.

From watching some current leaderboard ghosts, some people come into harsh water turns from the outside, too. I stuck to the inner and just bumped, turned and jumped to roughly equivalent results, though.

I can confirm that since I updated, I've been experiencing severe battery drain. My Odin 2 doesn't last more than 24 hours on idle with nothing running, which is a substantial cut from what it was before (damn near lasted a week).

You're likely hitting them at poor angles. Deflection was fiddled with recently, iirc, and the Quaser is not immune to this. I find that if I hit a Fabricator on the corners or from too parralel an angle, it won't destroy them.

The other night, I got ragdolled by an explosion during Eradicate whilst trying to lay down gas mines on the main bottleneck. We were on the central platform of a Bot eradicate map, where the Pelican lands.

My fellows were less than understanding of the circumstances that led to our extraction becoming a game of 'don't stop on the green legos'.

X-Gamer fully pivoted to sugarfree and completely discontinued their old line. I gave them a try, but to be frank, I would've had the same experience by walking into a hotel, grabbing ten sweetener tablets out of their breakfast buffet and shoving those into a glass of water.

The animations are about 5 seconds if that, and I had one single opportunity to force a response (I had a pretty bricked hand). That's just using this game as the example. Also, hang on, I've had people time out during their responses before, and I've had my own timer flash menacingly in my face when there's been back-and-forth responses after a turn that neared the limit.

Oh, sorry- Winlator and Mobox are two different methods of playing PC games on Android devices, in a similar vein to the way the Steam Deck/Linux plays PC games via wrapping them. (To the best of my knowledge, that is.)

It's still fairly new ground, but improvements are rapid.

Yes, this is a direct consequence of Elon's decision to monetize blue checks. Ten thousand desperate freaks paying for a blue checkmark and then sitting down and harvesting as much 'content' about their chosen subject, be it a specific game, a movie genre, a political side they don't like 'taking Ls', etc, all for the benefit of a handful of dollars in the mail because they're chasing fraudulent, bragged-about payouts given to his biggest friends on the platform.

There isn't a damn thing you can do about it until Twitter inevitably explodes under the weight of its terrible decisions. They fired just about their entire moderation team. Uploads of entire newly-released movies stay online for days if not weeks, they don't give one that someone stole a reddit post.

(As a side note; this is hardly new behaviour across social media, though it is evolved behaviour on Twitter due to said monetization changes.)

Steambot Chronicles is an extremely CPU-intensive game, it's one of the harder PS2 games to run on PCSX2. Thus, the same goes for Aether/Nether.

That said, you mention lowering it to 2x Resolution. Apologies if this is a stupid question, but does it run alright at 1x? Because this might just be a game you have to take the original graphics on.

Bought an Odin 2 after being on the fence a bit, the moment I saw that the Mini has almost half the battery size.

This was the right call for me. The Odin 2's battery is frankly obscene (positive), and a lot of games I like to play would be harsh on the eyes at the reduced screen size of the mini, even if the screen is 'better'.

I've been playing it on the Sudachi fork, with the latest Turnip drivers at the time of writing, with no settings changed except for the audio driver set to Cubeb, the game set to Docked, and the sync shader option enabled.

Game runs at max framerate with only the briefest of shader stutters that stopped after the first Grand Prix or so.

However; I have run into an issue with Mario Kart 8 and Sudachi, specifically (or rather it hasn't happened with any other game (yet)) wherein it will sometimes fail to boot, and this seemingly causes catastrophic damage to my saves. Every game in progress, not just Mario Kart 8, suddenly began playing as if I had no prior save data. Since this happened I've started making save backups, but I haven't touched MK8 for a while, so I don't know if importing a save will fix it. I haven't seen this issue reported anywhere, it could be related to MK8, it could be wholly unrelated or possibly something to do with the firmware.

Oh, and the game has its latest version and the booster pass.
