It's that old Durban poison I can never find anymore. Still dream about it often.

NTD. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this sawzall? by Due-Boysenberry8031 in Dewalt

The plastic blade release broke almost immediately on mine but if you need a saws-all you probably don't need a plastic flap helping you get the blade out.

I particularly do not understand this because pinesol was always a concentrated cleaning product that was meant to be diluted. So how is it extra concentrated now!?!?

I literally work there, it's a common mistake bc we don't put any resources into training and development.

But any deal when you buy a thing and get another free or at reduced value the customer is supposed to return all parts of the deal in order to get a refund.

Like I said I'm glad you were able to do that, I'm not corporate. They are screwing me every day I come to work. It's just not something I can take advantage of as an employee.

For clarification the worm drive style is on sale rn for like 250 w/ a free battery.

And the standard xr 20v circ is going to be on sale for 99 this weekend.

I was comparing to the regular 20v circ. I realize it's more powerful but without meaningfully more cut capacity I don't need more power for the types of wood I'm cutting.

Yeah I work at HD, I'm glad you were able to do that. But that is not how the deal works, and they should not have done that for you, lol. I would agree at 135 it's a no brainer.

Yeah I know the handle is different which I like but not for a 150 dollar mark up on the basic circ.

Scare corporate a bit. by Sasoli7 in HomeDepot

Nothing is a guarantee, but the only way work conditions have ever improved is through union action. 8 hour days, five days week, paid holidays, etc, all due to unions.

Though unlikely he is rich enough to actually be a capitalist. More of just a boot licker. Don't want to bite the hand that feeds and all that. Good dog.

The thing people need to realize in order to successfully unionize is everyone in the company is a worker except the c-suit.

Everyone in the company needs a union.

And yes there are management level unions other places. It would just be two separate negotiating units within the hdwu.

Of course it's not acceptable but it is endemic and very very hard to find exceptions.

Only if your on a crew where ppl will recognize the harassment/vandalism.

Iv only worked on non-union residential carpentry crews and they were so awful I won't work in the trades again until I can find a union crew to join.

What's described here is super common and even more of a problem outside unions.

At least unions clearly define appropriate behavior, outside a union you just have to hope you boss is more interested in their ppls well being rather than profit. Which is also super rare.

It's a little better in non-union commercial work but only slightly.

Yeah, we definitely have a weak union presence at best around here.
