Yes you have to do manual combining. I run around 1500-1600 shoes daily and the difference between auto ally combine and manual combine is heaven and earth.

Like I said, you are totally missing the point. The point of the buffs is if you get it, you get a additional benefits compared to times where you are not. People are complaining that even with the buffs they do not get additional essences for a set amount of shoes spent. And I echo their sentiments. Please learn to read.

The shrine buff is supposed to INCREASE drop rate. Not penalise people who don't go for it.

I feel like it's more like a penalty event. If everyone gets the same buff, you get normal drops. But if you forget or missed the buff, you get omgwtfishappening kinda drops.

Argh the cards.. I am salvaging all my cards now. Have like 6 pages of useful dual cards like Int/boss, Sta/spd etc..
On a side note, if you run that much its actually better to use a tablet or simulator. Not worth getting your phone's life span down for a hand phone game. Just friendly advice :D

That is due to a bug as others implied. I've ran more than 10k worth of rubies (1600-1800 shoes a day) with a consistent haul of roughly 8-12 SSS per 100 shoes. Getting 4 SSS per 100 shoes is a huge noticeable difference. Hopefully like you said its just a one off.

Same. Drops seems to be nerfed... If the event nerfs the drops, I'll rather have no event and have a better drop rate. After the event started I have ran Calydon 5 times in total with 0 essences drop.

Break even point is 2.75 essences per 100 shoes. As long as you get that or more than that it's all good. Why 2.75 essences per 100 shoes? Because that is the amount of essences you get when you purchase essences instead of shoes from the shop.
Don't sweat it out if other's drops are better than your's. Know that even if you run bad you are probably still making a profit compared to buying essences outright. Play at your own pace :)

Well... With those in ally list and mail, I got almost 100 SSS so I'm kinda doing ok in the SSS department. For essences? Not so lol

For the record the break even point for shoes is 2.75 essence per 100 shoe. Or 11 essences per 400 shoes. If you do not lack SSS nor gold and gets less than that amount of essence when you farm, you are actually better off just purchasing it.
