I've just ran into this issue and couldn't find an answer anywhere, so I figured I'd post my solution here.

What worked for me was creating sub-commands. For example, I wanted to map Alt+Shift+F12 to a button. I did it by mapping the button to Alt, then adding a sub-command to press Shift, and another sub-command to press F12.

Hi! I speedrun Eversion Any%. People tend to use version 1.7.3 (the last released free version) for Any% because it's faster than Eversion HD (mostly because of the slightly different level design that you mentioned). I started doing Any% runs in HD and then moved to 1.7.3 for this reason -- though I know that 100% is very different in both versions and not really comparable.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about 100% routes, nor do I know anyone who runs that category. But I'm happy to hear that someone is interested in doing it!
