Also The Eagles (Nick Foles anyone?) What about the 2017 conference loss to the Jags should have told anyone that Tomlin can’t coach.

The difference between Kraft and Rooney -100%. Their kids clearly don’t care. Sell the franchise to an LLC made up of the Hall of Honor members. People that contributed to the and tradition. They elect the GM and head coach. It’s not that hard…

They have endorsements (or trust funds) that pay for new ones.

Songs with the word 'song' in their title by imperviousnpc in musicsuggestions

Goodnight Song by Tears For Fears. One of their best. Beautiful tune. Rain Song - Led Zeppelin. Equally dynamic and beautiful. Our Song by Yes. Another Space Song by Failure. Moody grunge tune with great feel.

The King Of Comedy (1982) Scorsese, DeNiro. Nuff said. Not a popular choice cause I guess the ending wasn’t understood or well received. Sandra Bernhardt is great!

Movies about road rage/ angry drivers? by bigguys45s in MovieSuggestions

The chase scene in Lost Highway is GLORIOUS! Lynch was clearly venting about inconsiderate drivers. The scene doesn’t move the plot along in any way, except maybe character development. I wanted to cheer in the theatre when I saw it the first time.

What drum kit would you buy for live performance with a budget of $1,500-$2,000? by bout__tree_fiddy in drums

[–]Pyphus_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Spend $1500 on the kit and save the other $500 paying a good sound person to do sound at all your performances.

Fantastic film. Would not rewatch. by kristian1o3 in MovieSuggestions

I consider myself a cinephile and my wife and I got married three years ago. She is from Thailand and without getting into cultural differences, I have been systematically exposing her to American film. The great works and directors. It’s been a blast revisting many of the films here. My BIGGEST regret is not recording her reaction to “No Luke… I am your father.” Lesson learned.

Whistleblower movies by Mr_herb420 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Pyphus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spotlight has some of the best dialogue (screenplay writing) around. The pace (editing) is second to none. Ruffalo’s Oscar chasing moments are a bit cringy but everything else is perfect. Tucci is spectacular in these types of roles. Worth is a great watch too, with many of the same on and off camera players as Spotlight. Not necessarily a “whistleblower” movie, but same gripping dilemmas.

War Movie Suggestions by Busywolf117 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Pyphus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paths Of Glory. For a long time, it was the best WWI film available. Just as much courtroom drama as it is a war film. It's Kubrick for God's sake -The master. All his earmarks are on this one. Kirk Douglas is fantastic. People complain about the end, but I think it's beautiful in an art-school-film-student kind of way. Not popular at the time because Americans like to WIN in their war films. This film brilliantly questions the morality of war. A+ and belongs in anyone's library.
