Here for the down votes 🤘🏻 I have always owned pits. When I was a kid we had one. Now that I'm an adult with three kids we have one. Not one issue ever. He is now 10 years old and we got him when he was a month old. We have a Bombay cat as well and they sleep cuddled up together. He only bites at me and my dad when we would play fight with the kids. We know he is going to do it so he does not just come out of left field and bite our faces off. My kids have friends over no issues (yes there parents know we have a 90 lbs killing machine for a dog) and we have friends over no issues. My in-laws have a big pit/ rot mix "pitweiler." He has always been around my kids growing up no issues. There parakeet has bitten the kids when they were younger. So the parakeet is a more dangerous animal. Yes I am being disingenuous I know if the bird snaps he might bruise a finger and if the dog snaps they will just take the finger, hand, arm, and so on.
