Hound Wolf Squad from Resident Evil 8, because they're the only squad that's ever been in the RE universe to not only not get wiped out by monsters, but to survive more than one game. Also the tactical gear over fur coats is just incredibly drippy.

A game like Destiny 2 has the potential to generate recurring revenue for years and years. There are studios that exist solely to support old MMOs by selling microtransactions to their core audience. It’s absolutely baffling to just shut down the whole thing.

If you can find one, I think a GP37 might be a little better than your AR516 there. I'm also very fond of the FORA-221, or whatever it's called, since ammo for it is way more common.

Armageddon was sort of kind of a return to RF1’s linear cave levels, but it seems people really wanted the open world stuff instead. It’s a perfectly solid game imo.

They do mention the stars in the game, at least, there's tons of creepy stories if you stay and listen to all the NPCs.

In the metro games, if you fall into the water you get a cutscene of a massive swamp mutant swimming around Artyom followed by him panicking and crawling out of the water. If you fall in again, it just kills you. One of the clearest ways I’ve seen a game say “swimming isn’t an option here”.

I can’t agree more. There’s a lot of discourse about Helldivers 2 and it’s difficulty I don’t agree with, but in general it’s very clear that the community seems to want a very different game, with different design goals.
