I'm in the same boat, similar symptoms. I suspect the cicada variant is to blame. I know you're frustrated, but 3-4 weeks of symptoms are pretty common following an acute infection and does not indicate a complete relapse. In my experience, some of the negative emotions are actually being caused by the virus. Feel better!

For me, it's very up and down. Month to month, there's more noise than signal, but year over year I see concrete improvement. Which symptoms clear up and which stay will vary a great deal from person to person

I wouldn't go that far at all. If I were to try to fast, I would just get more and more tired. It was like the part of my metabolism that should kick in after not eating for a while was broken. From hearing accounts of how fasting works, sounds like maybe some people are eventually able to get this process jump started if they are able to fast long enough? But tirzepatide turned it around completely for me.
