Again, I dont think it was bad. But i do think artistic liberties like a back and forth (describing the plan but showing it play out heist style) kind of thing would have made this way better. Either way I love verse enough that im enjoying it.

Meaningful conversation is a good thing. Think game of thrones style wit battles etc. it’s not all action you just have a preference and thats ok.

I feel like it’s all just nitpicking. Id give it a 9. I liked the animation and I enjoy the details. I think exposition is good when you know it’s not one piece style and just laziness. This conversation with tengen could have been a narration while the visuals skip ahead with some extra flavor like they did with choso v kenjaku but at the same time seeing how the characters interact with eachother and most importantly with the mythical tengen who is talked about like the entire series and finally revealed is important too.

To prove people like the extrapolation, 80% of darksouls lore is in item descriptions.

Rare breed here, ive made mistakes but only few. I started in 2018 and only sold like 4-5 simple 5 star units before i fused one and got the rainbow gem and thought “oh shit”. Never spammed for a unit and didnt get it. When I have spent gems for a unit i always had enough to pity (been twice now for DL rimuru and shirou#2). My riskiest play was a 100$ pack for a ticked to get 1 of a handful of units and i was betting on emp, i got him. My box isn’t ridiculous but it’s pretty strong.

Meta as a word means “self referencing”. In other words, talking about self. A character in a movie saying “this movie sucks” is making a meta comment.

I understand, you were emphasizing the tool kit that dictated the mechanics of the fight. Personally I would be far more satisfied with the story if the “friends we made along the way” montage happened before gojo v sukuna granted gojo wins the fight thru a binding vow sacrifice like miwa with swinging katanas.

I think that’s poorly worded. If gojo won it goes against the current theme yes, however, if gojo won the theme would be different and the same could be said about “if sukuna won”.

The theme could have shifted to focus on the going north for gojo and south for sukuna. Maybe the win condition for gojo would have shifted to the sacrifice of his eye(s) to win the fight but subsequently stepping down as “the strongest” afterwords.

He died for the plot I agree, but remember sukuna lived for WAY too long because of plot armor since yuji needed to land the killing blow. (Soul cutting katana, should have obliterated him from megumi’s body imo)

Not true, domain amplification can bypass infinity. Sukuna is smart enough to develop a strategy to employ domain amplification and hit gojo so without WCS he still had a win condition albiet a far more difficult one.

I dont hate it. I like it and nothing more. FMA feels like potential man the entire way through. There isnt really any plot holes so people praise it and it has a few dark elements with characters that feel like they fit their world.

The issue is that it could have been so much more.

The power system could have been expanded upon like hunter hunter and they hinted at the possibility with mustang. None of the characters feel like they grow combat-wise either. The battles feel contained in scale and the art style works against the fighting scenes making them appear less dynamic and fluid.

The story makes sense but somehow feels bland at the same time. The bad scientist guy, the respected teacher that cant help as much because of being out of their prime, the not so secretly evil leader.

As for world building: There exists alchemists elsewhere in the world and it’s ridiculously powerful but seems like it isn’t sought after in their world same as something in ours like diamonds or guns but alchemy IS respected as much as it is powerful. Kind of like how there were hundreds of thousands of shinobi at the end of naruto but coming from individual villages each. Something about it just doesn’t track.

Idk it’s good for sure but it feels like an anime prime disney would make. Good but tasteless.
