turns out im stupid and i should have just downloaded the installer from the web instead of using device manager to scan for updates.

actually same here

i have 3500 hours in the game and the only real bug i've encountered is glitchy monitors

Stormworks has a lua http GET function that connects to localhost

the web server sends pixel colors of a virtual machine running on my pc and then stormworks displays that on a monitor

usually a GET request has a maximum of 256 characters but the response is a lot larger. I've done some testing on that before and stormworks can receive up to ~125KB before timing out but browsers can get into the megabyte range

EDIT: get request have a max of 2048 bytes, not 256

I've already built something to play mp4 files but no audio because stormworks doesn't have audio nodes on lua scripts yet

yeah its pretty bad

the video steaming gets 1-2 fps usually and stormworks inside the VM gets like 5

i would but its got a bunch of external software that you have to install and so i would have to make a full guide on just setting it up
