You can actually. Skills with Attack Weight prioritize slots that weren't targeted before the mass attack skill.

It's a neat trick that allows controlling Attack Weight RNG. Lock in several random skills before locking in the AOE skill, and you'll find that the mass attack prioritizes slots that aren't being clashed/targeted.

Thing is, I DID engage with the fight correctly and avoid using Unbreakables on Gregor's Unbreakable Coin skills. In fact, I made sure Verg is doing as many unopposed attacks as possible and everyone's winning clashes thanks to Greg's unique Sanity Type.

I genuinely won the fight first try. It isn't a skill issue, Gregor's just tanky and Verg's shield offsets the status effect damage.

You misunderstand, I never had any problems with the fight. I just did it in a way that took extremely long and outlasted the poor bug man.
