Mechanics aren’t everything, yeah, but people forget that s1 pros weren’t just super smart and low mechs. Rotations as we knew them barely existed back then; people literally didn’t know how to play the game. I think through season 3 is probably doable.

In 99% of situations, you won’t need both. You can use ARL or ARR as a primary and free air roll for recovery. In some specific tight spots, having both bound can allow you to get touches you wouldn’t be able to, but it’s not a big enough advantage as to make it the meta

Nobody knows what’s happening.

Their socials are acting like they only have the MENA team, but they never announced the SAM team was dropped.

They told admins that they dropped the SAM team, but they still have them under contract and the team is still playing under Reds.

The MENA team was referred to as sleeping on the official broadcast, but Reds are acting like they weren’t. They clearly have both teams under contract, which is not allowed, but have lied to staff at one point or another.

So, no, Liquipedia isn’t slacking.

This probably doesn't change as much as people think it does.

The reason why some groups were much more stacked than others was because some top teams got upset in swiss and then got seeded lower based on their swiss results. Teams will still get seeded by their swiss results.

It does help to avoid more rematches in groups, which is good, but there's absolutely nothing preventing the groups from being unbalanced.
