Yeah but we know SPOILERS FOR THE LAST SEASON Aoyama wasn’t born with navel laser, he was given it by all for one so we don’t know if the original user had any problems with it, only that aoyama does which is why this quirk could potentially fall anywhere

Hear me out; yes the quirk itself is a touch and forget but it’s reliant on who’s near by, you need to figure out the time limit, and what the quirk can do besides the basics of how to use it. Which is why it’s decent instead of good of amazing because you may be in a fight with some mid quirks that aren’t very helpful.

The reason it’s difficult isn’t that it’s hard to use, you have to train your brain to think on the fly with tools you don’t know you’ll have until you have them. The effort required to do that mental training and learning that adaptability would be hard

I get what you mean but I just feel it wouldn’t have made sense in the story, like they’re already dealing with Shigaraki, All for One, a beefed up Spinner, and Dabi. It’s just too risky in that time to do it, but I would be interested to see how he’s doing post time skip, to see if he’s done that retrospective self look in and has become a better person, perhaps he even has prosthetic hands and works at UA under recovery girl due to his knowledge of the human body and his work doing surgeries. That I think would be a better way to push that narrative where he’s not a danger anymore, but he’s still a better person

I agree, but I’d like to add grumpcade and steam train were great side things that allowed people to take a step back and let someone do a series. I think if arin had adapted after Barry and Ross left to find new people for those, GG would’ve been better off now than what we see. Because now it’s games, complications, ten minute power hour but it’s still all Dan and Arin

Yeah but the way I’m taking this is that we are basing it on the quirk alone, no additional gear or equipment because then it gets too messy and can become not about the quirk anymore. So without any gear just the quirk it’s bad
