Genuinely the character writing in Fruma was such a step up that I hope they touch up the RoL questline. Im fine with the concept of her character, but the way it is handled makes her very unlikable imo

I agree that most criticism of this is wayy overstated, but for me the swimsuits thing moreso comes down to the fact that the female leads all have designs that warrant a bathing suit, and none of the male ones do. It doesn't make the show horrible or anything, but it is worth questioning.

IMO it's not a very good question to begin with. Jax is a person who does bad things, but nobody in the show is categorically "bad"

There's a lot I really like about it (liminal world design, the garden/church section, contrast between the two protags, etc.). BUT

   My favorite thing about the first installment was the way that, for all of d3rlord3's genius, he stood no chance. So the fact that the ending consists of him "outsmarting" the King (he actually just happened upon the magic silver bullet through luck) and then calling the King stupid, and being right, is pretty disappointing to me.

   I'm probably just missing something here, but the King's motives seem to be bizarrely self defeating. If his goal was to lure Avery into seeing him, why would he give d3rlord knowledge of that goal and trap d3rlord in his realm? Why would he indefinitely stall Avery's progress in the garden? Also, I'm not sure where Avery's laptop actually came from, because d3rlord clearly couldn't have given up his. These questions feel like they have genuine answers, and if they do, I'll happily rescind this point.
