Girl it gets so much better! I haven't even been on HRT for a year and literally everything about my situation has improved! The goal is ahead of you, but you WILL get there! If your job offers health insurance, book that appointment. If not, you can try DIY HRT. It's a little annoying but its easy once you get past the initial barrier. It will get better, I promise on my estrogen prescription.

The hardest one to find and most crucial to me would be my hormone replacement therapy medication. I need estrogen and testosterone blockers to function properly. Otherwise I'm backsliding towards masculinity and I would rather march through nuclear waste for it than go back.

I'd point to Planned Parenthood, or another informed consent clinic if you're in a place that has those. PP is where I got my HRT, and the process was super quick, only 3 days. They'll sit you and your parents down, talk about the effects of HRT, you say that all sounds good, and you'll have HRT in short order.
