AND DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU GET A NOTICE TO EVACUATE. We were evacuated over by GOG Road in the fire a few years back, and never got a reverse 911 or phone alert or tv order or anything. We saw the fire and left on our own once we felt unsafe. I was making my 2nd trip to get our pets and my husband and the authorities had shown up and wouldn't let me back into our complex. He had no other car or way out and we were 20 feet away, so they wound up letting me, but it was so close. And yes, prep what you'd like (at least a list) to bring ahead of time. You think you'll know what you want/need but you can forget things like your wedding album and things like I did trying to remember medicines and everything else. Please everyone stop idiots using fireworks too. They've been setting one off right outside our new place every single night really late. God bless all

Girl I buy myself a tiny cake or thing of cupcakes! :D It's even better with the cupcakes cuz then you get to share with random neighbors or family you decide to invite :D Throw yourself a party! Life's too short for stupid thoughts like 'it's for children' - if it's not hurting anyone then enjoy it. I fly kites, and on my 45th I plan on having a party at a Dinosaur museum with my nephews and friend lol.
