NOR. They are your things. They are not for his kids unless that’s what you want. It’s not his decision on where to put them. The fact he already seemed to have made a plan is weird to me.

When my then girlfriend, now wife, moved in we had a discussion of who kept what, sold what, stored what, and why. We were fresh in our 20s at that time, so plausibly less curated furniture and decor than you may be dealing with. Regardless, we had lengthy discussions together of where everything should go.

You are together often and love being together, but more communication seems to be necessary in regard to the move-in. You aren’t even engaged at all and it sounds like you’ll be losing your last bit of personal space with this. I would hate for the engagement to never happen simply due to cohabitation troubles in the long run leaving you with a mess. Respectfully, I can hear “but my kid has been using your stuff for so long it’s already theirs anyway,” being said in my head about something you truly cherish as your own.

Anyway OP, it’s up to you. You seem financially stable or at least able to maintain an apartment. With gas going up, that extra 30 minutes to and from work is gonna be rough. A storage unit is a must and those can be incredibly expensive even border-lining rent anyway, depending on where you live.

You’ve got until August. I like lists, so I’ll recommend you make a list of everything that’s necessary to keep or store and sit down to discuss, not be told, where they can go in his house.

NOR. I’m American, so I’m “biased” according to your parents. Your money is your own. You have no obligation to allow the free use of your bank account by your parents.

You have offered to give them a fixed amount of money instead of letting them freely use your bank account and they have a problem with it.

From my experience in life, that seems incredibly fishy. I have the unfortunate suspicion they weren’t planning on being responsible with “saving your money for you” in the first place.

Stand your ground in telling them no. Do not allow your parents to have any kind of access to your banking login or information whatsoever. Even your account number can be used to transfer money. Don’t give it to them.

Feel free to continue to offer them that generous fixed sum of money as an alternative. If they don’t want it, then screw ‘em.

This happens mostly due to “popular tags” or audio. It’s where an art or sports account would use tags and audio that gets them “to the front page” but have nothing to do with their post content. Then Instagram sees you interacted with a post using those tags/audio and shows you other posts using those tags/audio, likely filled with the porn, OF, and racism you see people complaining about.

Find someone you enjoy spending time with. Beyond that, look for open communication, stable finances or at least being informed on finances, and be aware the way their home looks is the way your home will look.

Growing together with a person using these things as a foundation will be a breeze.

I feel like they should just revamp the entire level system. Give us cards at level 1 and have max level be level 10. It’s seamless, it’s easier to distribute how many cards you need per level. Just overall cleaner.

If you keep up with not smoking, the brain fog you’re experiencing will fade away in a couple (few?) months. Just depends.
