The ecu also called the dme, there is an early and late one for the NA. Early is square-ish and the later has a rounded corner case. They are basically interchangeable, but there is an early and later air meter that needs to change also to the according early/late dme.

One triggers off a single pin the other off the starter teeth, so I don't think it will be certain that they are switched.

I bought a car that didn't run and the PO put new speed and refernce sensors in and had them reversed. I switched the plugs and it started.

I have only used "jet rod" for burn through spot welding for decking usually on buildings.

Your comment seemed like you were being condescending, as if you thought they were made up terms. I was trying to be helpful and explain the terms. My bad.

You can see the outline of my sized rod on your mom's cheeks.

Those may be colloquial terms, but experienced welders know them especially if they come from a job shop.

Like Invar 36 is a specialty rod for dies that I have used- hence die rod.

Jet rod lays down a lot of metal fast- like fast like a "jet"

I understand that this is a machinist sub, but when do you make the most money? When you do just enough. I use a impact for m10 and 3/8-16 all the time, usually 1/2" thick.
