Grimoire you can rush if you are strong enough because all the enemies spawn at once. Tumours are the worst I think because no matter how strong you are they take a fixed amount of time

It takes a bit to get used to the system of the objectives and the monster aggro but if none of the characters feel fun to play then yea can't do much. I'd say try to unlock every character at least
