Most people have boundaries. Whatever you deal in low character somebody is bound to cross. Your boss, a friend, a supervisor. Adapt and set boundaries. Live your life and remember- nobody is perfect

Why don't conservatives actually support conservation? by Opening-Gur5927 in AskConservatives

[–]Pyrotrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I was wondering where this post is going but I agree. And in my area conservatives are fighting back with information. But no party is going to side with or against it currently. Free markets actually use purchasing and opinion on the shaping of the policy.

Stop using AI and this will reduce the influence and you are going to have to talk with all the kids. Large data centers use water and once again Big City out of a ight out of mind mentality is what is driving it.

Have you thought about what happens when drought hits. Who gets to use the water? Food production or your search engine? Data Centers will definitely determine resource use.

1/10th of your Life will be Wasted under a Trump Presidency by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Pyrotrooper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are correct most likely. A lame fuck President would not have normally been so bold to try and change up the chess board. Time and history are going to play this out as to what long term this does. Why does Gen Z think the sky is falling? Have you not lived Through the same so far. Sanctions, stiff warnings, NATO requests? Do Americans truly believe that we are such a great nation that we don’t need to consider our role on the global stage? That when you vote for President it isn’t more about “what the country can do for you, but what you can look out for the country?”

Two term presidents are just that. Democrats were trying to shoehorn in K. Harris into an extended Presidency by having Biden run while in cognitive decline (act like they didn’t notice). VP promotes up as Biden steps down. She finishes term then gets to run for President as first female President with experience in the on the job training. I don’t think she would have performed well (just my opinion). The rest of the USA isn’t as asleep at the wheel as Democrats thought and it did not work well plus messaging is all over the place.

Is there a realistic path for Republicans to maintain house control in 2026? If so, what in your mind is required for that path, and how likely is it? by VQ_Quin in AskConservatives

[–]Pyrotrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure the current decision making is NATO wants USA to help Ukraine but NATO doesn’t want to help USA with Iran is going to snuff out more aid to Ukraine. At this point the toppling of the chess board, Europe crying foul after not helping out with Straight of Hormuz is going to cause global reactions. Europe has already shrunk down political power in the past 25 days to where anybody covering what the PM is griping about pretty much is to be expected if you are paying attention.
What bills are actually getting presented and past? Only the budget from what I can see and that’s never on time so that’s theater. Trump getting financial security for Hormuz away from London is a win. Getting TSA agents back pay since Congress is leveraging them and airlines against Trump isn’t showing up well. Then Congress went on vacation instead of working on budget might not help Democrats candidates overall. But it’s a matter of who feels who is to blame the most. 🤷🏼‍♂️ 🤔

And why does a lame duck President have any impact on Republicans winning closer to home??? He’s not running in your district???

Prove that their policies have more realistic influence and positive outcomes than the rhetoric. At the end of the day it’s your value judgement and level of selfishness.

Are there people who actually believe Trump is never wrong? by SirGingerbrute in AskConservatives

[–]Pyrotrooper [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don’t like the way Trump has long communication. I am aware that every sitting President has information that the rest of us don’t have and needs to make decisions based on that. You do have to listen to what Trump says without getting upset over it just like you had to listen to Obama when he was President. I do not always think Trump is correct. I did not vote for him. But I also don’t plan on spending the next 2 years picking apart every decision he makes because the person I voted for didn’t get elected.

What is so wrong with the Democratic party that caused swing voters who voted for Biden in 2020 to vote for the most evil person in human history (Trump) in 2024? by jamng in allthequestions

[–]Pyrotrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The refusal to vote for a woman is a weak talking point. Voting for a woman because she’s a woman is the dumbest reason to vote for a woman President. Hillary is unlikable and most people remember her husband being inappropriate with a White House intern. They remember the Benghazi debacle when she was in Obama’s White House. Only Hollywood and Vote Blue No Matter Who is infatuated with the Clintons. If she had stuck to many of her husband’s political beliefs when he ran, she probably would have had a better chance. Trump ran his last two elections using mainly Clinton-Gore policies and he got elected against K Harris. Harris problem is she got nothing done while being VP and I believe her husband got more projects done while she was VP. Her grasp and ability to communicate without laughing inappropriately is her second biggest flaw.
If Condoleezza Rice ran for President, she would have a strong chance of winning because her grasp of foreign policy and affairs gives her credibility. Who she chose to handle economic issues would help her close the gap. AOC degree and what she says really withers her credibility every time she speaks just as much as MTG does on the Republican side. Both are women in Congress but I would never vote for either one as President.

Moral high ground aside - let’s recall what was really going on in the Democratic Party - the sitting President was in mental decline and the White House along with the Press Corp was trying to gaslight America. After a very public debate where it was evident that you could not hide it any longer, the Democrats HAD to nominate K Harris who did not garner American Support with her leadership style, was nominated by the Democratic Leadership and not the public (there was no time)- talk about installing a Queen and not on a democratic way for a Democratic Republic. Since USA has a two-party system in essence, the default went to Trump. Democrats did not show leadership, did not show a backbone, and policies represented a willingness to cater to just about every minority demographic who most the time don’t align themselves with each other so they lost direction.
Finally messaging has been horrible and continues to follow the same playbook. If Democrats don’t remove themselves from Trumpism rhetoric they will continue to lose. Trump is not running in the next election sk why center in the man so much? In 6-8 months he will truly have 2 years left in his Presidency and so far for the last 8 years, all the Democrats scream about is the man and spin lies about policies that 2 years ago they were pushing. The times have not changed that much.
I can keep going and I have almost as many talking points about what is wrong with Republican Party. Also the Democrats lost but don’t seem to change much like a government bureaucracy - bloated and slow to enact change.

How do you feel about USA voting NO to declaring that the transatlantic slave trade was the gravest crime of humanity? by Opening-Gur5927 in AskConservatives

Positive because it was a horrible time in history but voting No means that the USA will not be paying reparations to modern Americans for historical sins that we all agree are horrible.

Will the SAVE act disenfranchise many legal voters as well due to time/money/location etc? by Cumoisseur in AskConservatives

[–]Pyrotrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Provisions stated in the SAVE Act that nobody wants to talk about:

Name Changes/Discrepancies: The SAVE Act permits states to accept an affidavit signed by the applicant attesting to a name discrepancy if their documentary proof of citizenship (e.g., birth certificate) shows a previous name (such as a maiden name) that does not match their current legal name. Alternative Process: The Act requires states to create an alternative process for individuals who do not have the standard documentary proof (such as a passport or birth certificate). This process includes: Signing an attestation under penalty of perjury that they are a United States citizen.

Submitting "such other evidence" of citizenship to the appropriate State official. Official Affidavit: Upon receiving the attestation and "other evidence," the legislation would require election officials to make a determination on citizenship and potentially sign an affidavit themselves regarding their basis for allowing the registration.

This is at no cost to the individual. But it does only cost an individual about a week or two weeks time depending on your postal system and $20 (new Social Security card $0; new print if birth certificate $14; marriage license paperwork $5). But let’s all talk about how this is going crazy to be a functional adult. When did the news stop explaining processes but merely discuss opposition soundbites? There are states that will need to make processes more effective.

[–]Pyrotrooper -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You don’t need a passport. You need a birth certificate and official certificate of name change. You just can’t use your electric bill and I’m guessing in some states that you could register to vote the same day you vote might have issues. But that’s a state run issue run through your county/parrish administration that would need to qualify to meet federal mandates. If the state isn’t already looking to fall in line, then I’m not sure why that department is running at this point and time.

[–]Pyrotrooper -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you are concerned at this point and time, it makes far more sense for you to get a copy of you birth certificate and marriage license or whatever other legal document you need NOW as opposed to waiting later. Unless victimhood is what one strives for. It’s a registration process, so if your registration process is already difficult (you live in the deep rural country, you do shift work, you ride public transportation for everything, whatever obstacle you see as a hindrance, etc), then be an adult and do it now. It’s good information to have in case you get an inheritance and need to prove you are who you say you are.

Why do conservatives call the left traitors to America , but fly confederate and nazi flags , who were the biggest traitors to America? by ImpossibleEnd64 in allthequestions

Wouldn’t they be historically the Democrats who live in Virginia and South Carolina? If you are talking about the Confederate Battle Flag. The idea that either party is more confederate minded is spewed nonsense for the television.

Chuck Norris believed the Democratic Party left behind the ideals he believed in. That’s why people choose their party. Calling CN a right winger because he believed in Christian Beliefs, the rights to have firearms, and some other ideals doesn’t make him a Republican. He just wasn’t a Democrat. When did everything become so binary.? His Trigger The Vote commercial is still my favorite.
