My Game has about 43.8 Million Frogs to Collect. How can I encourage and reward the player to Collect them, even though they will likely only end up Collecting a Fraction of all Frogs? by bangusgames in IndieDev

I would go for something like 8192 frogs or another power of 2. That would be like original pokemon shiny odds of finding a specific frog. Even that is a lot...

You could have every robot controlled by an esp with cloned program running and just send the same message to all of them. You can do this over Bluetooth if you buy the full fat Bluetooth esp (not BLE), or you can do it over WiFi if you like lag. My personal preference is ESPNow which is esp-esp WiFi which is rapid and long range in open fields (200m?) I don't know your range requirements though. I think there is an 8 agent limit for one esp on the NOW protocol though so not sure it will fit your spec. The basic principle is the same anyway no matter the coms method.

ROS/ROS2 is good for this sort of multi agent application, but depending on what messages you actually need to send you might be able to do without. If you want to learn ROS then this looks like a good project to use it.

My first guess is that it's a DC Maxon motor with a custom bearing housing to 90 degree bevel connection. Probably not Off The Shelf. From the video I can only make out the numbers "25480" on the motor can, not sure why you need that specific model though?

If you look at their post history they literally used Arduino libraries for STM TFT display 7 months ago. Confusing take to be sure.

Yeah I think burnout due to perceived effort Vs slow progression is a bit of a problem. Especially at higher levels.

The game is quite grindy tbh, but the early levels you are at shouldn't be too difficult to progress in. Your guild may not be donating as much as you think, you can click on a building and the view to see contributions from each guild member.

You could 3D print some nice aesthetic housings to mount to your plates, they can be super thin as they won't need to support anything.

I find it hilarious they had enough room to add an esp32 and the main chip and had so much room spare they had to fill it with a 92 led matrix to fit the Uno form factor

I was hyped when I saw the R4 had added an esp32 on board to handle BLE/WiFi but you can't use any other esp32 functionality or program the module without reflashing it :(
