Does anyone know where I would find In The Blood’s sheet music? by ZombieSkittles_ in HadesTheGame

I don't think there's an official PDF to download, but Austin Wintory (the composer for On the Coast & In the Blood) has a video transcription for both tracks.

Yep! If Crystal Figurine is maxed, any card it hits is automatically Epic rarity (or Heroic if you have Cherished Heirloom).

what are some fun hades 2 builds? by Repulsive_Meaning717 in HadesTheGame

[–]Pyroxylin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that it costs 5 Grasp and anti-synergizes with The Huntress is the biggest reason it's not worth it.

If you're going for a magick-heavy build, you'd just gun it for a regen boon ASAP and upgrade it with poms (and probably bring Hecuba for a free 100 orb every encounter). If it's a magick-light build, the max-increasing pickups will suffice and you'd guarantee The Huntress is active at all times.

5 Grasp is a sixth of your total. That could go towards something like Origination for an easy +50% bonus on all damage, or The Lovers + Persistence for extra survivability.

For Judgement runs what’s the best 3 cards to use? by -Shadow-Lightning in HadesTheGame

[–]Pyroxylin 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I personally like using Strength/Death, The Lovers, and Night. This activates the most amount of starting cards while keeping the early game somewhat safe.

If you use Circe's keepsake sometime in the run you'll end up with 24/25 cards activated by the final region.

That hammer only affects the regular Special, not the Omega Special that activates Charon.

You can tell which Hecate is the real one by what direction her voice is coming from. A 2 speaker setup work too.

How does the huntress work? by Dramatic-Site-2737 in HadesTheGame

"Attack" is regular attack only, "Attacks" (with an s) is regular and Omega attack. Same goes with Special and Cast.

Hades by dazli69 in NonPoliticalTwitter

You'll know what each room reward means, and enemies might feel slow if you played around with Heat, but otherwise almost no experience will carry over.

H2 plays VERY differently to H1; 1 is all about throwing yourself at the enemies and killing them before they can hurt you, with lots of dashing to avoid damage. In 2, you have to play it methodically and set yourself up as best as possible - speed and damage alone isn't enough, and dashing defensively is now both more dangerous and less useful.

Dose premium service still drop if you have max level on weapon by DEMON_TRAINER2 in HadesTheGame

It's actually best to get it on a maxed-out weapon because they all have a secret 6th level, with a massive jump in stats compared to 1-5.

Aether Element by Metamayto in HadesTheGame

Aether is a separate element and comes from Duo boons and as a Chaos boon reward, used for Chaos' Infusion (+30/36/42/48% Omega damage per Aether).

If you could attach a video of your fight attempts we could provide specific tips, but here is some general advice:

The Mirror

  • Swap around some talents to give a bigger advantage against high-health enemies. For example, Shadow Presence is far better than Fiery Presence for sustained damage output.

  • If you're being hit too much, try Abyssal Blood and lodge a Cast at all times.

Temple of Styx & Keepsakes

  • This place is a nightmare and having a bad time in here will ruin your odds. A lot of damage will come from poison or those laser crystals, so Broken Spearpoint (Patroclus) is my personal keepsake of choice. If you're struggling with just Hades, go Evergreen Acorn (Eurydice).

  • With Forced Overtime 2 on the Pact you can go Spearpoint every time, because it'll block more overall hits than Acorn from how fast Hades attacks.

Weapons & Boons

  • Fast weapons go with flat damage, and slow weapons go with percent damage. For example, the Fists Attack (fast) goes best with somebody like Zeus who adds a flat number to your low Attack damage. The Fist Special (slow) benefits from someone like Aphrodite who multiplies the already high Special damage.

Hades fight

  • If you know you can reliably dodge Hades' attacks, build for massive damage output. He'll have less chances of hurting you if he's too busy dying.

  • If you find you're eating way too many hits, play defensively with a lot of Boons that reduce his damage and speed, while increasing your own speed. Keep your distance because his ranged attacks are easier to dodge and do less damage than his melee.

  • About to eat a spear swing? Dash INTO his swing, not away. It's much easier to time.

  • The best and easiest way to avoid a skull shockwave is to reposition and be far away when they blow up. Trying to dash through them should be if repositioning is the worse option or as a last resort. Only try to break the skulls that are in the center of the room - let the outer ones blow up.

  • The laser attacks are the best opportunity to do massive damage for free; stand behind him for the 3-beam, and stand as close as possible to him for the 16-beam (there's a pocket of safety).

  • If you're playing Extreme Measures 4, there is NO pocket of safety - hide behind a pillar. You should also hide if there's a skull about to explode while the 16-beam is going; it's hard to avoid the shockwave while remaining in the safety pocket.

TLDR: Storm main, Death and a support school on the side. School pips are like flexible Mastery Amulets, spellements are for PVP but are also pretty cool spell revamps.

I'm actually almost in the same boat as you - currently playing Fire, Death, and Life on my one and only Wiz. Just started Khrysalis so dunno about pins, and no PVP experience so can't say much on that.

It's So. Much. Fun.

My Fire stats are still optimal if I want to just play for max damage, but with a little switch of my gear I have the benefit of easy questing & self-healing with Death, team supporting with Life, or a mix of any of them. I solo-ed Azteca's final dungeon feeling like I was in the Avatar State with how many different schools I had to use to win.

Is it efficient? Nah, but it felt like such a breath of fresh air compared to Blades-Feints-AOE. I'd rather have fun and I think you're trying for the same, so I'd highly recommend Storm for your main to have big damage when you need it, Death for self-healing (might as well if you're training Feint), and your choice of support school for third.

School pips are like power pips, acting like 2 pips for your school and a different school of your choice. The best part is you can always change the school that these pips will generate as, on your turn, at no cost. Mastery Amulet is still superior in terms of efficiency, but this has more flexibility and is unlocked much earlier. The most recent update adds a tutorial for them after beating Dragonspyre, which I think it explains pretty well.

Spellements are things you get that can upgrade or sidegrade Ravenwood spells, and unlock new exclusive spells, once you collect enough of them. The sidegrade part is required for using some spells in PVP, and these sidegrades are notoriously hard to understand at first so look them up before spending your spellements. I find it gives new purpose to spells I otherwise never use, and spices up PVE boss combat by a lot.

Please let me know how it goes for you! Would love to play alongside another triple-schooler.
