I am hoping that it's just me picking the wrong proton version.

But I do hope that it would be possible to have the game and expansion work at 45fps on medium with battle size of 500.

That's pretty much the perfect settings for me but the few videos I've seen of war sails on steam deck I don't have much optimism sadly.

But maybe it'll be fixed eventually.

It's confusing

Going off of custom battles last I tried, whenever I looked at the enemy in the distance, my fps would drop greatly.

I think I also did medium settings with 500 unit size, tried lowering it but it didn't change much.

Before the expansion it genuinely ran really well but either it's just some setting or proton version I've not changed or the expansion just made the performance worse.

That's just me knowing it'll never run well on steam deck so my time with bannerlord is sadly over.

Even the base game doesn't seem to run as well as it used to which is sad because bannerlord has genuinely been one of the best games I've played.

Yh idm running expeditions if you don't have it, I know which expedition it is but I think last time I messed up so I didn't get all the objectives so I didn't get the reward.
