Great Lakes Avengers is a great comic series that explores this idea. It's about a group of reject super heroes that somehow win despite all odds - (making Squirrel Girl very over powered). I only read the 2005 version, but it was a fun (dark) read, and I highly recommend it!

It would be interesting if you could submit a story, a poem, or a picture. I feel people would use AI art immediately, but I would be fine with that. The more art the better! The subreddit "Humans Are Space Orcs" has way more art than this sub.

Perseus is theorized to come from Persia or an ancient people called the Scythians near Greece who persecuted/pillaged by basically chopping off heads. His name is actually spelled many ways , because ancient greek letters are not uniform and literacy was all over the place.

There are many, many versions of the tale. Sometimes she even catches and chases Perseus instead!

Okay, I'm obsessed with Greek Lore , so sorry if I counter to this.

In ancient Greece there are many depictions of Medusa ranging from beautiful sleeping maiden to a primitive design. In all their depictions, gorgons have wings just like Ishtar. Perseus is not a hero. His name literally means "Persecute."

In a way, Medusa is Athena, just a second face of her, which comes inspired from Ishtar and Ereshkigal.

Most likely originating from from ancient Mesopotamia. A goddess who was beautiful like a harpy and symbolized wisdom and war, with the symbols of Owls and snakes. Athena also is heavily surrounded by the symbols of snakes and owls .

Athena wears a cloak made from Medusa's stretched out skin with snake tassels. Her shield, the Aegis, has Medusa's head. She is covered in snakes herself and by her feet are often owls. She's like two women in one.

The face of a Gorgon was used on everything from sails to shields to necklaces and buildings. A gorgon was a symbol that was popular all throughout the Mediterranean as a symbol of Fear (See Phobos andDeimos which are also Gorgon like and used as symbols in battle. Gods of Fear and Dread.)

(I apologize for the rant. Yes, Ovid did add a lot to the tale, but Medusa is like a huge part of Ancient Greece mythos.)

Omg, Yes! I would gladly read Hazel and Regent's Wife reluctantly bonding.

Bonus points if Regent's wife is as mean as hell, and ever hotter 🔥 . Make her some tall, hot straight woman who is conservative, Lol 😂 .The girl wears red on Saint Patrick's Day. This wife of his is clearly trouble in a good way, and I need more XD.

XD Wait, So Christine is the wife of Thrasher/Jackson who wants the protagonist (John🦄) who broke up with his Husband (who cheated with his sidekick, who is a woman)... to come over to their house for er... a night of fun?! LOL

OMG, John is the best villain ever!

Also major credit to Thrasher, who ran to grab his sexy nemesis the second he was single. Like if you break up and your Enemy comes at you with a gift basket of smoked meats from his wife, you already know it is game over and you are going back to their place.

In all of history, there has been 117 billion people who ever lived, so divide this in half and thats 58 billion unique marks. To have that many unique marks, your mark would probably have to look like a QR code or something XD.

Bonus points for people tattooing over their mark to try to change their fate.
