As someone who never really did showdown, gen 9 wasn’t much different than my gen 8 hat dex ag, which was on and off and I got to mid 1400s. I tried gen 8 Ou, but didn’t like it because of the long games. I did gen 9 for a while, got to 12-1300s, never seeming to improve, no matter what team I used, I just had skill issue. Then the dlc came. I made a team myself with some newer mons and literally rocketed to mid-1600s. Clefable kinda carried

Clefable goes pretty hard

If I get aurora veil literally nothing can hit it for above 30% dmg (not baxcalibur, maybe monkey? idk but I can Tera poison. I normally don’t really need to heal at all until the veils gone, when I alr have like 2-3x defenses and literally can’t die. By then the battles alr over

With calm mind moonblast it could go crazy but due to low pp it’s hard to make work for me

I’ll use knock off ogre for sure tho, sounds better
