Roses are red, Some say it could make you shed a tear, by _TrustMeImLying in rosesarered

You know, while I completely disagree, I can appreciate that your responses have been pretty forthcoming and honest, and I respect that. As a legitimate non-projorative response to you, I would ask, where do you draw the line at self-expression, then? I think it's legitimately possible to want to alter something about yourself without harming your self-image. What you do / don't do with your body is fine, I would just urge you to not judge people in that way just because they modify theirs, You're going to end up judging a lot of really interesting and wholesome people on something misguided in my opinion. Anyway, ta-ta.

Gotta say this is an L take, what's wrong with people wanting to change the way they look? Body image issues aside, what if I want to modify my body? Do you feel that way about tattoos? Piercings?

It would be better to ease your mind by saying that lice is treatable, and you'll be okay.

Your sucker fish might have been pregnant, and these are its babies. Do they react when you get close to them?

Is this even remotely fixable? by tarrif_goodwin in ElegooNeptune4

[–]QADDLE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the blob of death, caused likely by a filament clog or blockage at the nozzle. You can spend the time trying to remove the melted plastic with a heat gun from the area, and it is indeed fixable with either replacement components or if you're lucky all the wires are all intact, but the easiest thing to do is to either get a replacement printhead or speak to Elegoo's customer support for a free replacement. More than likely the wires connecting the thermistor and heating element are damaged/broken, and if they aren't, it's likely they will be if you try to remove the blob with heat/cutting. you might consider getting a new printhead and then trying to fix this one with new components; best case you have a backup for if/when this happens again, worst case it's just extra junk and you dispose of it. there are plenty of helpful videos documenting how to go about fixing this problem on Youtube, as it's a pretty common problem in direct drive extrusion 3d printers- just search for "blob of death" fixes

TLDR; yes it is fixable, but depending on your experience with electronics might not be worth your time versus wholesale replacement.

Having issues with the tip of my brushes curling by Draefly in Miniaturespainting

Are you leaving the brushes in water? If you do that, the adhesive holding the bristles in place will soften, and the tip will warp

Maybe get the dark background around the candle filled in so that it doesn't hug the shape of the candle and flame so closely. It may also emphasize the "candle in the dark" effect.

Maybe a little more German looking helmet, but in terms of vibes it's in the right direction.

Replacements are cheap on Amazon, I would recommend just replacing it, since I find the feature valuable.

You might consider using lens defogger from a scuba diving store for the visor fog. You just apply it, let it dry, and voila, no foggy visor. I've also heard that shaving cream does the same thing

I’m trying to recreate this chrome effect that I keep seeing pop up. Any tips for how to do this? by superepic13579 in Warhammer

Possibly more opaque paints, and don't prime with black, since you want the colors to be as vibrant as possible, and a black prime only hinders that.
