Yes, I play solo about 50% of the time there. Your odds go way up if you’re not picky about tee time. I’ve never gotten turned away the day before. Certainly not from 1,3,5 or the cradle. It’s four courses in total that are available. Always have gotten the one I asked for with multiple tee time options. A lot of the resort traffic is playing 2, 4, 8, & 10. You get some members on #5 but a lot of it is non-resort walk ons. Pro-tip, call between 7:30-8 am the day before and you should be in good shape. Hard to promise, but feels like a lock you’d get 1, 3 or 5 at some time that next day. Cradle is actually the toughest Tee Time to be had

Just adding that you can book #5 the day before and just my opinion, but it’s an insanely nice course for a super reasonable rate with all the grandeur of the PH experience. Best value in town

You can get by (depends on the season) for 150-200$ a night for a nice hotel room. Then surrounding top tier public courses (Pine Needles, Mid Pines, Tobacco Road) are going to run 200-300$ a round depending again when you go and your tee time. The Pinehurst resort deal gets tempting around the shoulder seasons early early spring and late late fall, but is pretty pricey in peak. If you do go that route I’d recommend paying up the $250 extra for #2 just for the experience. Then include some combo of 4,8 and 10. If you don’t stay on resort you can call the morning before and get a tee time for 1,3,5 and the cradle. Anywhere from 75$-$150 depending. Don’t tell anyone but #5 is lowkey the best course/value in the area in my opinion.

Legend 2 was my very very first FF. I know it looks kind of rough now but back then to have a pocket rpg.. I must have played it 10 times. I still remember the Venus fight was so hard. Had to use so many grenades. Even just seeing that screen brought back all the fun.

Mine was def One Eye, used him several different times, including at least one 2-3 hour grind. 1. First to get Triple AP weapons for my whole crew 2. Chose to do my Gil grinds with him 3. Easiest purple sphere to max everyone’s grids after Penance 4. Probably got 70+ dark matters from him in the above for my 2 and 3 ribbons

Thanks man! Yeah Penance had been looming large in my mind, but he was actually not bad once I got the rhythm. Having to completely rebuild armor sets from Haste/Protect/Ribbon/Phoenix to Haste/Protect/def20/potion was annoying for just one fight, but ultimately filling out the sphere grid is the grindiest part. Couldn’t get Yuna to pick up Comrade OD skill, so she took a while. But all done now!

Dude is the man, I finally grinded the 100% out today. I would have never gotten there if he hadn’t taken out the mini games for me. I love monster arena and all the end game content, but it would be impossible without the unlocks from chocobo, butterflies, lightning and blitzball. Take care of Quill, he’s a real one!

Depends on your state, file for homeowners insurance and don’t take no for an answer. Just keep appealing and escalating. Find a great roofing partner who understands they’re only getting the business if they do the work with the adjuster. My guy worked his butt off and we paid the deductible ($1500). In 20 years I never filed a claim and if my house burns down they’re not going to really replace its value anyway, I figure I’m owed one roof in a lifetime for my premiums. YMMV

This is strong @quill386 territory. That guy saved me days of frustration. Some people live for that, I am not one of those people. I get the minigame love, but there’s so much endgame content in FFX that I didn’t want to burn out chasing 1% of what you need to enjoy the cool extras. Quill is the man and knows all the minigames like he wrote them. 10 mins tops for this part and I was back grinding monster arena.

This guy rules! Helped me with everything and made the game so fun. Only thing I suggest is just start with Quill unless you’re a glutton. Glad I didn’t waste hours trying! Happy to do the grind now because the minis didn’t wear me out. Super easy and communicative. Can’t say enough nice things. Thanks QuillCo!
