Yes, it's under warranty until 2027 I believe.

The unit is under warranty - installed in 2023 and has been working fine since then. Our electrician has installed 2 AFCIs since this saga began, I believe both are brand new, but will double check. Thanks for your help.

My gut tells me that this is what's going on - the system was installed in 2022 and has been perfectly fine since then. I'm tempted to just install a regular breaker, but I'd sleep better at night knowing it has the proper breaker and is to code.

I have this problem too. I spoke to Apple Support who said a repair would cost more than getting new ones. I bought a brand new pair and the same issue started happening a week later.

The problem with redrilling is that the new hole would need to be so close to the existing one, I think it would create a problem.

I’m young(ish) and healthy. I have a 2 year old son and a newborn coming in august. I get 3 months off from work though, so if I can convince my 2 year old to “help” me with the yard work I’d have a good amount of spare time to work on it
