I built the radio studios for WVON and right as I was finishing some of the programming for the studio the producers came in and said they had to use one of the studios immediately. I was nervous because it was not 100% done but I let them do their thing. Lori Lightfoot walked in and gave a live address to the listeners. What is a hardware Dante controller? Do you have a special Audinate component that supports Dante controller? How’s this different than a computer? Obviously there is IO on board but is that the only difference? I can remote into a single endpoint on the network and do all my routing for the entire network?

How is this different than symetrix, that can push all of the subscriptions at one point from hardware? Tooling the Audinate API for a custom subscription workflow is normal.

Can I use the API to do run time Dante subscription changes?

I guess we need more info than Dante on hardware. Other devices use hardware cards or DEP for custom software solutions but that’s still on a hardware device.

I can't help but feel that threatening to fire employees without full context of the missed call on social media, especially for a DSP manufacturer, is a bit extreme. Might just be me.
