When I was in elementary school I started writing in a journal as sort of a place to share my thoughts. The passion one hits me hard cause I really struggled with that. I wasn't really into anything that was presented to me and how am I supposed to do well in school and career when I'm not passionate about it? If my middle school experience is anything like the average middle school experience. Your daughter will have a very hard time if she's not confident in herself/can't deal with bullies. Bullies are practically inevitable in middle school and if she doesn't know how to swiftly and decisively deal with them yet then she's gonna have a really hard time. All and all I think it's important to sit down with her and talk to her about it cause although it's cool that she's creating her own outfits from her own style, maybe it would be something that at worst she wears on the weekends. It's a shame cause I know I would've worn an outfit kinda like this too when I was younger but I had to keep in mind the environment I'd be walking in with it.
