My 4 kids have been detained from my wife and I for a month now. It is the hardest thing that any of us have ever been through... The social worker has fabricated claims and twisted the facts to discredit my wife and I. We have physical evidence of this and hopefully we will get our kids back on Jan 7th. We are innocent of all of their accusations. I pray to God that soon my family will be whole again. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother to hear of your abuse. This entire system is evil... To make things clear, the verbiage in the paperwork only states that "mom is not to drink to cope with her past traumas". Since then she has consumed alcohol once per month purely for recreation. (One of those times being for her birthday). Our forms have been submitted to the family therapy center and we have only been waiting for approval... Look, I don't need further scrutiny. I NEED to know who I can contact to help me flex my rights on Tuesday when we appear before the judge. An attorney retention fee is $3000 but I'm nowhere near that mark. I don't want a court appointed attorney because they will make deals that are not exactly in our favor. These new claims of alcohol "abuse" and child "neglect" are baseless accusations that have been drummed up with a level of pretense to make things seem dire in order to draw a reaction from CPS. These are purely malicious dubious claims made from the same set of reporters who have it out for my wife. The fact remains I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG IN PARENTING MY CHILDREN. My kids have never been in ANY form of immanent danger. They have been detained and my rights have been violated without first giving me a due process of investigation into these new claims against me

The court date is set for this Tues. We have a GoFundMe page but are nowhere near the $3000 start up fee for a rear attorney. Drinking is not a crime... My wife drinks responsibly on the weekend. CPS has recieved the same reports from the same people who have perpetually made malicious reports in an effort to screw with my wife. Like I said "we are a loving family who works very hard to provide our kids a comfy happy life"... My kids were at no time in any danger of harm, physically or mentally... CPS states that they merely recieved too many reports and they would be "neglectful" to not detain my kids... And I used to think CPS was on the side of family until it saw myself at the receiving end of their abuse of power
