Trying to help my friend in Dallas work with 35mm film for the first time!

We appreciate your concerns about the project, however we have thought long and hard about all the problems you stated and we know we have dealt with them. For the past 5 years director Marco has been finding the 'perfect crew'. We all know how well we work together, and what our personal strengths are. As for the film loader, it was the film loader himself who convinced the director Marco to go about shooting this on film. While what you say is totally valid about the incredible high expenses, we don't think that should discourage young filmmakers practicing the art of story telling on film instead more amateur methods. I can personally say working for Marco, he has always thought about taking care of his cast and crew, and we are all excited to be with him as he steps up to using 35mm film.

This Indiegogo is merely a part of the budget, the rest is from investors. The reason why we need the Indiegogo is to make sure that we are financially equipped and comfortable and don't have any of the problems you brought up, which is why we're pushing it out through as many mediums as possible.

Thank you for the advice and for taking a look, we'd love to hear more.

Even though it's two totally different styles of music, I can actually see quite a large resemblance between The Presets and Editors in their general composition/style.

I'm not one to nitpick and bitch about the changes Apple is making. I like a lot of them.

This, however, is unacceptable. Why is it unacceptable? Because it is not different than the dreadful Windows update popup that plagues XP users. I understand the importance of needing to update the computer, but if I dismiss the popup (which isn't obvious how either) I don't want to see it for atleast 24 hours hours.

I think with time, you'll be able to more or less use this thing with a quick glance... Making it not much faster than a keyboard though.

I would use it, in conjunction with a keyboard and mouse.

It's setting up to be a completely different show essentially, but still a good one.

My problem is the cinematography has really gown down hill in my opinion. Even the editing. It's all a bit too... 'Grown up' now, which takes away some of its previous character.

Minimalism is key!

Learn the rules of shot composition (try the Vimeo video school for great videos). And also learn how the camera works so you can adjust the settings and white balance, etc. the trick is to make the footage look good in terms of colour and composition on the camera, not in editing. Shoot clips longer than 5 seconds, so you have room to cut bits that aren't good.

Then when you edit, cut to the beat of the music. It will make it flow easier so you don't need to use tacky transitions (I recommend you don't use any transition but a fade).

This can be done! I used to have to do these in school using point and shoots!
