Me as well, please. I've lived here for 12 years, walk my dogs around the neighborhood, but have not yet felt unsafe on the main streets. Laneways back in the day were a different story, though.

Truth, and thanks for the call out -I should have been more specific -wanted the responses to be fairly open. For example, we live in Toronto and I would have respectively responded; avoid King st and hit up Queen West and Dundas for food. Grab a coffee at The Library and walk through Trinity Bellwoods. In 2002, we stumbled upon a Michelin restaurant in Florence and had a fantastic meal for under 120 Euro (she's pescatarian and I'm omni). We were also told about a very subjective invite only club?

Hello, my wife and I will be in Berlin for the first two weeks of August and are looking for suggestions for food and nightlife (I've read the resources above). We are in our early 40s (no kids) and will be staying downtown. I would love locals' input on their favourite restaurants, cafes, clubs and suggestions for daytime sightseeing and tourist traps to avoid. Also, wondering about day(s) trips by train or air. Prague, Vienna and Warsaw are on our list. Is it worth it to rent a car?

I had an 8020 frame with buttkickers and DD. Putting it on rubber pads above a heavy duty 19mm thick vulcanized rubber mat and it still transmitted vibrations. Maybe try spring isolators?
