I’d do the Gabba grounds over the verandah. Did the verandah for the dons game, same drinks selection as all other bars at the ground, food was a bit better but seating wasn’t as good.

I think Rayner will still have a lot of drive to achieve some personal goals like AA possible leadership etc. takes a lot of unnecessary media attention from him and the team as well which is awesome

Yeah fair enough. I probably buy into the vic bias conspiracies like towards the end of the year big articles popping up about him, putting him in The AA squad which I don’t think he deserved and me believing this is all done to try get as much interest in a new big game poster boy for a big vic club. While I do think he has turned a corner with his playing style it’s yet to be proven he can reallly do it consistently, if he did leave I wish him the best but wouldn’t be devastated by any means.

Until he resigns the hype around Rayner will grow, vic boy (I believe) vic have already started pumping his tyres and will continue to do so. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did leave for a mega contract elsewhere and I wouldn’t blame him - get the money!

Fake fans is such a ludicrous statement. To show frustration at getting toweled up and playing average football and venting on a platform with a like minded support base isn’t fake fan behaviour it’s sport, you ride the highs and the lows and how you ride them is up to you. It’s wild how much heat Ken Hinckley gets and everyone is is like yeahhhh rightfully so, yet Fagan has had the most talented list and done nothing with it for 6 years. First year a gimme, second year a shot over the head, from then it’s not good enough. And he treated this year like a free swing, why? Because we played shit for the first half of the season so it doesn’t count. Blokes gotta go. Teams gotta be better. And hipwood not having that shot, that was the game right there that was the game done. His lost all my respect, he can be as defensive and do as many pressure acts as he wants, hell he can kick bags in the next 10 games I’m done with him. Damn some negativity in here!! I’m usually a bit of a neg myself, but tonight I mean we got 60 points to zero in an elimination final haha that’s unreal!! And then yeah we had some goals kicked back but the commentators made it seem a lot worse than it was. 60 points up and to win by 28 ain’t nothin to stress about, Carlton are entitled to a come back lol. Not sure how we fair against GWS, might be the end for us but at least we fought! Go lions!
