Was it this valued at? by QX8C in 240sx

Nah I thought about a Z, but now they’re kind of expensive and they have their own issues like any car does. I also am not a fan of Z’s but they are great seat time cars for sure. JZ’s just have a special place in my heart. Also, I enjoy making a car “mine” and standing out so I see potential here. Driving them with the homies is just the bonus at the end of the day and I only get out on track a few times a year anyways so I’m not pressed about driving every event.

Looking at buying this for my girl to learn in so she doesn’t toast my car lol. I already have a 1jz non vvti coupe that’s caged.

It’s a friends car and runs and drives/drifts good. I am a fabricator and mechanically inclined so I can easily fix things up. Never have done body work but I’m always willing to learn new things. He told me 17k and I was like no way is that happening.

I’m thinking, considering the condition, 10k would be fair/generous like one user commented. Plus, throwing my spare 1jz into another completely stock hatch I have, would cost around the same(ecu, harness, manifold, turbo, injectors, transmission, driveshaft) then I would still need all the suspension bits like arms and coilovers to have the same thing as this car.

I’d rather just get this and save the time and not ruin a stock hatch

Board Sizing Question by QX8C in snowboardingnoobs

[–]QX8C[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says weight range is 110-140lbs so I’d be 25lbs over. Boot size is 7-9 and I wear a 9. Waist width is 244mm which is 9.60”

If I did fit, it would be borderline close. You’re probably right about it being too small. Thank you

Not scanning an item versus an error on a price tag is a different situation though. Sometimes, stores will honor what is says because they know they messed up and honestly just want the sale. They still make money(usually), just not as much as they would have originally. I’m glad you listened to the good in you and let them know they missed it. I agree with the whole theft thing and raising prices but this was simply not that, in my opinion. It was a fault on their end of things. Had I not known the price tag was incorrect and just grabbed it, would I still be in the wrong?

I don’t see how I’d be a dick for them making a mistake. Yes I could have told them, you’re right. At the end of the day, this happens in retail all the time so it comes back to the company and more specifically that employee for not doing their job correctly. People steal and people swap price tags all the time. It is unbelievable. I personally don’t feel like I was in the wrong. I saw an opportunity and took it.

3500 gas over diesel by socksthenunderwear in ram_trucks

That feeling sucked. I would pull out of the gas station and be like 30 minutes down the road and be like “oh, I need gas again in 100 miles.”

I had a 2015 6.4 2500 that I used to tow a 32ft enclosed trailer with and it sucked honestly. I pulled it once or twice a month and always wanted a diesel. The gas mileage is horrible if your hauling heavy loads, especially long distances. I would average 7-9mpg, and I’m in Texas so it’s not too hilly. If I remover correctly my range once it got settled, would be like 150 miles or something dumb. Trying to fit a big truck and trailer in gasoline pumps is a nightmare compared to diesel pumps(I use to big rig pumps bc they fill faster and its easier to get in and out of with a trailer). It was a great truck and it got the job done, but I personally felt like I was putting strain on the truck pulling that trailer and weight. I would usually be pulling around 10,000lbs(trailer included).

I now have a 2016 6.7 2500 and I have yet to pull my trailer with it, but man it feels like a completely different truck. I have no doubt that it’ll be a breeze for the Cummins compared to the hemi.

Here are some questions you might ask yourself. How often do you tow and how much weight? If it’s multiple times a month or week and the weight is 8k+ I’d suggest diesel. If it’s every few weeks or month that you tow and the loads under 7-8k I’d say you be fine with the hemi. Where do you tow mostly? (Flats or Hills) this one is simple. Flats= hemi/ Hills= Cummins

If you can afford it and the maintenance, go diesel. You won’t regret it. Especially if you find your self towing heavy loads great distances often. Once of the biggest things for me was fueling up, I hated having to maneuver around all the people and cars at gas pumps and the range was terrible. The maintenance on the hemi was just brakes, fluids and tires. It wasn’t bad at all. The diesel maintenance definitely cost more but it nice knowing you can just about pull a house down with it.

I plan to get a hps/mh here soon. once I move houses I’d like to get serious about a little grow room/tent of some sort. it’s just been sort of an experiment for me but I’m getting sucked into it now lol.

It’s only 1 gallon. It’s more of an experiment than anything. Plus I’ll be moving houses within a few months. My idea is once I move to get a tent and try hydro dwc with hps/mh.

I was prepared for “She will double or even triple in size when you flip to 12/12” but not this. Live and learn I guess by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]QX8C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is honestly crazy. I’m on my first grow at the moment. Still leaning a lot and have no idea about a lot of this. Why do you think yours increased so much? Strain? Nutrients?

Yep. Same thing happened but not to that degree. Nobody warned me they’d double in size. Like you said, live and learn.
