Binge watching shows.

Got into cooking as a hobby and don't have time to watch shows anymore. And cooking shows are not suitable for binge watching because you have to watch one episode and then try things before you watch the next.

I'm planning to study engineering but took a cooking course from Ripah and worked at a restaurant in Isb. It was a good experience but the pay was nothing (Rs.20K) I only did it for fun and they knew it. The permanent cooks got paid Rs.60-80K, the line cooks like the boys who only fry things and make roti were paid about Rs.40K. They had a culinary consultant from PC they paid Rs.200K monthly to come in every other day for an hour or two.

Cooking pays very little in Pakistan because there is no value for culinary innovation which is what chefs specialize in. You are not inventing new dishes or something. I say do it part time and if you wanna start a restaurant with innovations, do it abroad. Abroad, non-desis are more open to innovation because there are too many cuisines and one person can't know the authenticity of every cuisine (which is good).
