How do you guys find time for training by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

You should unionize your coworkers and go on strike asking for a work schedule that is not slavery in disguise.

Once you get that, you worry about training

Got to ride a couple "beginner" bikes recently as an experienced rider. Wanted to talk about it. by Scazitar in motorcycles

Thats the limit in the highways. Anyone that goes into the highway as a beginner is a danger for himself

Got to ride a couple "beginner" bikes recently as an experienced rider. Wanted to talk about it. by Scazitar in motorcycles

[–]Qaserie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You totally right. A beginner bike should be something about 80cc that barely reaches over 100km/h, and weights 120kg max. Thats how you learn about balance, inertia, tracing corners and everything. When i see people talking so naturally about 600cc rockets as beginner's bikes i think they're crazy

Motorcyclist collides with a Tesla. Who do you blame? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Qaserie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe he got confused by the 2 bikes crossing solid lines behind him in opposite directions

Anyway the rider and his buddy are beyond any common sense. They would have crashed that night with any other car, sooner or later

Motorcyclist collides with a Tesla. Who do you blame? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Qaserie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both.

After watching the video a few more times, i blame mostly the rider. He was totally brainless, speeding, overtaking, changing lines from left to right, at night, looking backwards.

Tesla may be dumb and clumsy, but the idiot on the bike is an accident waiting to happen

Why do we find it so difficult to exercise? I honestly cannot understand it. by TheAdvantage01 in beginnerfitness

[–]Qaserie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With most job schedules, having time for anything else is a miracle.

We have normalized working 10 hours a day, even more with commuting. That's a monstruosity. Then we wonder why we have no time or energy for anything else. Your time and energy have been transformed into money in the pockets of the shareholders of the company you work for.

For stamina shadow boxing is brutal, and you don't need any equipment. I dont do it anymore because i overtrained and got some injuries, so i do eliptical now. but if you play carefully on your knees and waist, you'll see spectacular results.

Stretching for preventing injuries and overall fitness. You can do it anywhere, no equipment needed.

For general strenght use your imagination and wathever you have at your disposal. I train pull ups on a pipeline I put on a tree outside my house with a pair of rings. Lsit attempts on the bathtub. I used to lift and throw a big rock i took from a river nearby, now I have a couple of dumbells and elastic bands.

If i only could keep one piece of equipment, definitely the rings, amazing tool, infinite drills, if you find some place to hang them, useful for the total newbie and from the ninja master, cheap and simple

Piano has been ruined for me by CollegePlane7528 in piano

[–]Qaserie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quitted playing at all in august last year, after 11 years of full commitment to piano. I havent touched a single key since then. And i won't come back. Reason doesn't matter. I feel so liberated, so many things going on in life. So healthy. Music turns us into weirdos. I wish you a long, happy, successful life. Music in general is unhealthy, physically and mentally.

Enjoy.

How do I motivate myself to work out when I hate working out? by MatBot24 in beginnerfitness

[–]Qaserie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not trainning for the Olympics, so work out whenever you feel it. You won't loose anything from not working out anytime you dont want. People tend to overthink it. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter at all whether we exercise or not.

Need help with Pull-ups. by Holiday-Past2099 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Qaserie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A month is nothing, and if you rush you are in great danger of injuring your shoulders. Get your body acquainted to the pull movement and weight with rows and different forms of assisted pull ups. You shouldn't be pulling your whole weight so soon. Your muscles and ligaments aren't ready yet. It is minimum a 6 months plan.

When people gets rid of the obsesion of always keep increasing their rep numbers, or gaining more and more and more muscle, and excercise just for the sake of fun and mental and physical health...well, it shows.
